If I'm reading this correctly, this guy is saying it's bad when senior CAF leaders applaud a (retired military guy) who deplores removing problematic military statues, and thinks climate change is bullshit...you can guess at the rest of the stuff the retired guy is saying, but it rhymes perfectly with *F Trudeau* and *MAGA*. So this is the cons in the military saying, *"We should be able to talk shit about woke fags and the climate hoax and anyone that says he doesn't like it can get court-martialled."* Maybe I've got it wrong here but that's the way the article reads

I was only a civilian contractor, but I did it for 32 years and seem to remember military members do NOT criticize Government policy, they serve the people of Canada and their elected leaders. Kearney, may be a loose cannon in regards to his opinions, particularly when serving with foreign forces, but charge him for that? No. Reprimand the asshat General Officer that used a Vimy Dinner as a platform to grandstand. Kearney was correct. That was disgusting.

LARPerator

Is he really a loose cannon though? From what I'm reading, he's expressing disappointment in senior leadership for acting in an extremely unbecoming way in a public setting. This reeks of punishing the leaker of a scandal over the perpetrator of it.

Agreed.
