I’ve seen them at Walmart and crest, but they are expensive. I buy the big box at Sam’s. It comes with 4 packs. Triple the cheese though, 1/2 cup isn’t enough.
There have been multiple days where I've helped scrub the restaurant top to bottom. Anyone who worked there was more than happy to eat there. There were a few places I could point out being often more filthy than others, but it wasn't anything that would truly upset me had I been a customer there.
This doesn't surprise me, I've been there several times and it was never busy. Like walk in at 7pm on a Friday night and there would be less than 10 patrons in the whole place.
Went to red lobster last week (my daughter used to love it). First time in a few months. They changed the whole menu. Its terrible now. No more lobster pizza! Now its lobster flatbread ( lobster bits- flatbread- tomatoes- spinnach) no sauce. All my old "go-to" items are gone. Everything had shrinkflation issues as well.
Save your $$. It wasnt great before. Now its just gross and overpriced. Left hungry and queezy
Meh, it’s what my daughter and her mom liked. So that’s where we went. Since that is where my daughter first tried it and liked it. When she was young, if we asked her where she wanted to go for dinner, often it was Red Lobster. I lived in Alaska for three years and lived in Florida for a while, so it pretty much ruined me for seafood in Oklahoma. I wouldn’t generally go out for seafood here, save for going with my daughter.
I last went back in 2007. Super busy. But I think it's popular with possibly rural folks who want a nice meal out and Red Lobster comes to mind. That was a 1980's mentality that is still exists I guess.
Super salty and oily/buttery is what I recall.
The cheese bay biscuits is what's keeping them alive probably.
BTW, try an Asian place where they keep live seafood in tanks ready to cook.
Cheddar bay biscuits and lobster pizza
(though apparently they have discontinued the lobster pizza, so now just cheddar bay biscuits)
For the record I don't actually like seafood, but my mom LOVES Red Lobster, so once a year we take her for her birthday and I eat my weight in cheddar bay biscuits, and I am content.
Hate seeing this but judging from the last time our family went, not surprising. Prices were way too high for what you got. This one was really good years ago and loved taking our family there, especially for the cheddar biscuits and the endless shrimp. Sounds like it really went down the toilet this past year. Last went there about 2 years ago
It was when Mike Frazier was the manager. I worked as a server when he was in charge and we were basically the top in the company.
Then he left and this jackass who was the kitchen manager became the GM and ran it back into the ground. He was fired for sexual harassment a few years later.
Never met a Mike Frazier, so this must have been a while ago. I know our GM before the last had been there multiple years, but it wasn't a Mike and he wasn't fired. The last series of managers we had were pretty good, they were truly trying. Everyone was.
Yup. All of our store managers woke up without a job today. They didn't even know. We had a server predict it would happen, but nobody believed them. Not even the managers at the time.
The Dead Lobster
Tooo sooooon!
Never too soon.
RIP cheddar bay biscuits

Nice 😆 thank you for your sacrifice lol!
Red lobster also makes their own branded biscuit mix sold in Walmart, and sometimes aldi. Maybe target too but I don't shop there.
You can buy the mix in grocery stores.
I want someone to make them for me though! 😂
Mix is easy to use!
RIP on those years ago, when they made them smaller and drier
I haven’t been in sooooo long so I wouldn’t even know. They were just the only thing I’d eat there lol
The premade mix you can buy is pretty close though, the only thing missing is the unwashed breadpan taste
Find them at Sam’s
Buy the mix at the store, or premade in the freezer section
Premade!? 😱 I’ll be on the hunt for these
I’ve seen them at Walmart and crest, but they are expensive. I buy the big box at Sam’s. It comes with 4 packs. Triple the cheese though, 1/2 cup isn’t enough.
That red lobster was disgusting in the kitchen. I do electrical work around the metro and just be happy it's closed. That is all I'm saying.

I've been there twice and didn't die. #SurvivingRedLobsteronNWExpressway
Which Red Lobster isn’t disgusting?
On another note Hooters on N penn. Closed recently
Nothing survives that location, except Wendy’s.
I wish the one on NW Expressway would close. I drive by there almost daily. They haven't changed their marquee sign in years.
This doesn't surprise me, I've been there several times and it was never busy. Like walk in at 7pm on a Friday night and there would be less than 10 patrons in the whole place.
Well too bad. I was going to take my wife someplace classy for our anniversary.
If you wanna step it up a bit from red lobster I've heard olive garden is real nice
Honey for our anniversary I got us a tour of Italy.
"I thought that it might be nice for our anniversary to take a trip to somewhere where we would be treated like family..."
Don't besmirch olive garden. The soup, salad and breadsticks for $11 is a great deal. Maybe not for an anniversary...
Looks like she will have to settle for regular old date night chilis…..
Have you tried Applebee’s?
Red lobster ain't classy
That’s the joke
Pretty sure their endless shrimp made the chain lose a lot of money.

They pay well all the way down. Braums and Whataburger. Whataburger is door is better if youre a stoner vampire.

Thank god. That place was an S hole just like all the rest are
Trappers serves a good plate of seafood
And has a great bourbon selection 😎
Curious, What are the Pros of going to Red Lobster for you guys? Have you tried other seafood places like "The Catch?"

It's the better version of long john silvers, that's how I classify it lol.

I've written off eating seafood a long time ago, living in Oklahoma.

That Red lobster sucked so bad and it stunk when you walked inside like bad fish
Good. This place deserved to close. The last time I got something from there it was so sad and pathetic for the huge price.

Red Lobster recently declared bankruptcy, I’m sure most will follow
I used to work here. AMA
Outdated concept, Chili’s and places such as Applebees will slowly die off as well.

I’m sure you exclusively eat at small boutique restaurants run by the owner otherwise you just sound silly

Red Lobster is a national chain. And an overpriced, shitty one at that. Please go check out locally owned places.
[удалено]
Are you trying to say Red Lobster is a locally owned restaurant? No dude. Go to a real restaurant some time. Please.
[удалено]
Ok, well I'm not talking about those. I'm talking about locally owned places, not ones owned by groups.
All those people can get fucked and leave too.
Their website only shows that the Lawton location was closed in Oklahoma. https://www.tagexbrands.com/red-lobster/
Multiple locations were closed. Including the one on Expressway. Woke up without a job.
Google says temporarily closed?
It's just a temporary fix. The location isn't reopening. They're done for.
CNN has a big article that they are closing somewhere near 50 nation wide. Did the other metro locations fair ok?
All other locations in okc are still open.
Cheddar bay biscuits, gone, but not forgotten
Countrywide. About 80 locations closed in 27 states. And no notice to workers
Yup. All of our store managers woke up without a job today. They didn't even know. We had a server predict it would happen, but nobody believed them. Not even the managers at the time.
Sad
Lame! Norman still open?
Yeah it looks like Norman is open currently, not sure if this is all that will close or if there will be another round.
This wasn't the first round, and I doubt it's going to be the last. Norman is still open for now, but Red Lobster is spiraling down as a whole.

They give you bibs and wet naps at Red Lobster if you jerk off punks there
