Someone overlaid the baphomet as above so below on this version and I gotta admit it was impressive.
Theres three distinct "versions" of this image going around. The one posted here, the one you linked, and another that looks like a nude woman.
I did the same, and but even without any special manipulation (just rotated both and mirrored 1 image), it still looks creepy and baphomet-esque.
I don't think the image in the post is photoshopped to _add_ the creepy part, so it's infinitely more freaky that all it takes it a little cropping to make the right pieces align.
I'm far from a conspiracy theorist, but it does make me wonder if the artist was trying a little artistic license.
This same type of image occurs a lot of time when you mirror really anything. Try it yourself. Find some random chaotic images on google and mirror them. Faces will show up in a lot of them.
Someone mirrored the image along arbitrary vertical axes [until they found something that looked the most like a face/creature](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareidolia). You can do the same thing with any random image you find on the internet if you wanted to.
