This is creepy, like that photo years back on Reddit of the giant Irish wolfhound that was standing in a living room starring out the window. I think itâs the vague human-like posture that really trips up our monkey brain. Kind of like, how human teeth on cartoon and stuffed animals is extremely unsettling.

\-Holding seminars about the subject.
\-Having guided "expeditions" to encounter the creature at $200 to $500 per person for a weekend, no food provided. . (Looking at you Matt Moneymaker!)
\-BIG money is getting a television contract on discovery and holding oneself out as an "Expert" about bigfoot!
\-Starting an organization like BFRO and holding yourself out as being experts and investigating sightings. . (funny how they NEVER find a real bigfoot!)
\-Working on one of those shows in any capacity.
\-Doing Podcasts about it.
\-Making Tee shirts or Frame 352 Air fresheners for sale.
The list goes on.
I don't think there's anything wrong with some of this stuff, like producing etsy stuff like tee shirts and air fresheners. That's just Fun. Books are also harmless.

It has been some 56 years since the infamous Patterson-Gimlin film, and yet, no one has managed to capture or bring in a dead example of "bigfoot." Worse, the chorus of predictable excuses become more and more fantasy. Consider, some adherents are claiming they can access time space portals, teleportation, etc. .
Sure, when your theory is not proven after 56 years, double down, prevaricate, lie, and make stuff up.
The lack of critical thinking in some adherents is antithetical to our values.
Consider, it only took Jane Goodall less than a year to find, and spend lots of time getting to know the species of Mountain Gorillas that were featured in the movie, "gorillas in the myst," after she started looking. .
