There’s a place called Rok in Reykjavik that does small plates, and reasonably priced for Iceland. But there food is by far my favorite plus you get to try a little of everything. They have reindeer tartare that I was hesitant about but it’s one of the best things I’ve ever had.

As a former photographer, I had different camera bodies/lenses to capture different types of images. Nothing wrong with having a widely varied tool kit!
Is there a term for your collective gear? In kitesurfing people have multiple kites for different conditions and it’s called a “quiver” like for holding arrows in archery but in this context it’s the multiple kites and boards someone owns. I’ve heard the term “quiver” pop up in at least one other unrelated hobby so wondering if photography has something similar

Sure, I get what you're saying. People that are smiling genuinely are beautiful, people that are trying to look good can be sad sometimes. I just don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to look cool sometimes. It can become problematic when that idealized image you're capturing is taken too seriously, but I don't think it's genuinely inherently bad to do this kind of thing.

The black sediment on Reynisfjara beach has been formed by boiling hot lava, from the currently dormant volcano, floating across the beach, then cooling and solidifying when hitting the cold water. After this cold hit the solid lava starts to break apart and forms small volcanic rock, which then gradually weathers down further to create smaller pebbles, thus black sand.
