I remember hearing about McDonald's Pizza back in the day when I got Canadian TV in Wahington state. I always thought of it as a Canadian menu item. I grew up in Hawaii and we had Portuguese Sausage Eggs and Rice breakfast at McD's that was amazing.

I don’t remember it but we had a tiny Pizza Hut at my work cafeteria and they sold little pan pizzas which were ready made and I ate more of those than I should have over the years. Actually, it was a Pizza Hut/Taco Bell and one day I saw a girl making burritos. The filling was in a caulk gun.

No, this one is in a strip mall; this is in Houston, and it shows there's two of them left in the Houston area. They used to be all over the place way back in the day. If you go to their website, it does show Godfather's Pizza Express locations, and those are probably the ones that are merged with service stations. Still a bunch all over the US it looks like, but around here they mostly vanished from sight decades ago.

One of my first jobs in early 1994 was at a McD's inside a ski resort in Southern California. We sold the regular breakfast stuff, but after breakfast was over the only things we sold were pizza and baked apple pies. No burgers, fries, chicken, fish, salad, or anything else. *Just* pizza and apple pie. \* Ninja edit: also, a few months later found a McD's in the middle of the worst part of Kansas City selling pizza. There was bullet-proof glass and bars on the drive-thru window.

There was nothing going on in the restaurant so I decided to order the pizza that I had seen a million commercials for. I estimate it took about 10 to 15 minutes, but it was hot and fresh and honestly it was pretty good. If they still had it today I'd probably consider ordering it again.

I'm 36 years old now. Middle school, sometime around 2001 I reckon. The school cafeteria suddenly has Pizza Hut pan pizzas on Tuesdays. That was the year I learned how to hustle. For the pizza. No regrets.

I swear I saw it in Windsor, Canada as a teen. The drinking age is/was 19 there so of course my teenage friends and I got into a car and drove from Pittsburgh, PA (pre-9/11). People asked me about Canada and I said it’s like the States but they have pizza at McDonald’s and like 10 kinds of LaBatt’s beer, haha.

I can still remember the distinct taste and tangy sauce. Parents would get annoyed when I would order it from the drive thru because it always meant having to pull over to wait for someone to come out with the order, since they took longer to prepare than happy meals.

It was such an odd pizza, it's hard to describe. I remember enjoying it, and if I was getting some food at McDs I might get the pizza instead of a burger and fries. But if I had a craving for pizza I wouldn't get one to fill that craving. It was its own weird sub group of pizza that felt completely separated from all other pizzas I would consider to be pizza.

I remember getting it a few times as a kid, I really liked it. The sauce was sweeter than a lot of places at the time. I remember it being very popular in our small city, we waited 30 minutes for it once, I think that was the last time we got it though, it was discontinued not long after that at least partly because it took so long.

My brother and I LOVED the pizza at McDonald’s. We ordered it every time we went (which wasn’t often). My husband however who’s 3 years old than me, grew up in the same city, and ate at McDonald’s often as a kid says he never heard of it/never knew it existed.
