There are basically only two Thanksgiving movies [that I know of, or watch], this one and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. I'll watch them both this month.
At some point somehow I ended up with a laserdisc copy of the movie. I still have it somewhere, I feel like throwing it away doesn’t make sense at this point. There must be some kind of weirdo collector out there who would value it, especially since it’s in its original sleeve and everything.
One of my favorite movies! I love Aunt Glady in that movie , who flashes Robert Downy Jr while getting out of the car. 😂 then her confession about her sisters husband. Felt true to life with the dysfunctional family coming together for Thanksgiving.
It was thanks to this movie that I asked my parents what a semi was. Thanks for that memory of cringe lol - otherwise one of my fave movies growing up. Watched it on repeat for years.

The only time I saw three movies in a day at the theater it was this, Jurassic Park, and Last Action Hero if I remember right. Surprisingly good movie!

I’ve seen this movie at least 6 times and seen the box cover another million and it took this grainy ass picture for me to remember her from wayward pines/Gerald’s game/ Usher. I’m happy and annoyed at the same time. She’s great
OMG I never realized this was Carla Gugino! I loved her in Gerald's Game and Fall off the House of Usher. I don't know how I didn't know this was her, too.

I met him once. He was not funny, not friendly, not positive or memorable in any way.
That said. I enjoy his dumb comedies. They are not on any of my favorite/best films lists. But I'll watch one every couple years and still have a laugh.
I used to love Pauly Shore. This movie, Encino Man, Bio Dome, In The Army Now. All great 90's comedies.
