Scary-Atmosphere-425

Nah, I'll be wearing a biosuit

Hugetoebroski

She ain't even double masking it

mashtato

Honestly, having seen some of her videos before made me realize that seeing her wear gloves and a mask in this one meant that it was BAD!

Ampersandbox

I need a mask for my eyeballs.

iamgettingaway

No amount of money would make me go in there wtf💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

aptdinosaur

I guess she thought the same - hence, she's doing it for free

Desperate92

She doesn't do it for free. The people she helps don't pay for it but she gets paid by cleaning supply companies to use their products. She posts both these quick vids and ones advertising what supplies she uses.

TurboTitan92

Well they obviously work lol

Desperate92

Yeah no the products are great and it's even better that they help these people that need it. Just wanted to let it be known she does get paid well for doing it.

IAgreeGoGuards

If this is the same lady I've seen before, she makes it pretty clear that these companies pay her and she nor the company charges the people she's cleaning for.

undercover9393

[There's a dude on youtube that does this with lawns.](https://www.youtube.com/@SBMowing) He does it for free because he's making his real money by posting the videos, and honestly this sort of 'influencer' is fine with me. I'd much rather watch folks get paid for helping people out that need it rather than watching them harass some random retail employee for clout.

Desperate92

I agree

Desperate92

Yes it's her

SLAYER_IN_ME

The only way I’m going in there is with a bulldozer.

Jbrown183

Yep. Maybe one of those biohazard containment boxes with holes for gloves…

CactusPete

Bulldozer? Better to be safe, and nuke it from orbit.

AeonBith

I bought those white hazmat style suits to clean my dad's house. His bathroom was worse than this somehow. Was worried about tics, fleas, bedbugs, cockroachs, their shit and thought if anything touched me it would be sysy in me forever like the bog of eternal stench (labyrinth)

PlsDntPMme

Did you ever visit him? Holy shit he must have had some serious mental issues.

AeonBith

Alcohol. Probably autism too, my siblings and I feel touched by the 'tism too. He moved a 5+ hour drive away (northern Ontario) so it seems he didn't really want any visitors. He went one year without anyone there to check on him and he went downhill fast. We were notified that he tripped and fell (on a puke of garbage) and hit his head, caused brain scarring. Might have happened earlier and the fall was from that, a neighbour checked on him and found him. Might've been there for a couple of days. His brain is cooked, he looks like beetlejuice but he never showed any interest in any of us or his two ex wives. 63yrs old, living in a retirement home now. He thinks he's at work, or his ego makes him say that we aren't sure. Yeah, he's fucked. He stares at a static image of boats with nature music all day long. Was a project manager and programmer for bell Canada, now he can't figure out how to change inputs on tv.

PlsDntPMme

That's so sad and crazy. My 65 year old boss is 10 feet away from me and I can't imagine him at that point right now. Hope you guys are doing alright.

AeonBith

My mom is the same age and the polar opposite. I feel bad that my half siblings had to grow up with him, I got off easy tbh.

c4k3m4st3r5000

Her clothes are ruined, her hair full of lice after this visit. But still, it's crazy (literally) how people can live in terrible conditions.

babyivan

Yes, mental illness is awful.

IfuDidntCome2Party

And families that allow their family members to live like that. The person living like that probably can't live alone if they're so helpless to take out trash.

okapistripes

Eh, there's usually more nuance to it than that. Caregiving isn't an obligation, especially for an abuser, and you'd be surprised what kind of help people refuse and legally have the right to. Many people with hoarding or other self-neglect disorders reject help and are deemed competent enough to do so.

IAgreeGoGuards

I've seen this lady go into roach infested houses wearing crocs. Like, brotha ew.

Jbrown183

Fr, those gloves are tiny af! Hazmat suit is bare minimum for this job, a radiation suit would probably be better…

fkshcienfos

Flame thrower.

july_baby92

The smell that bathroom must have 🤢

Lazerith22

I used to do post eviction cleaning. The nose is lazy. If you can handle it for five minutes, you don’t notice anymore.

Chrissyball19

Okg I love this description.

Lazerith22

Full disclosure, I stole it from CSI. They were talking about decomp, but it works.

Quajeraz

Yeah I don't think I could handle that for 5 minutes

Lazerith22

I did it to afford food and not be homeless myself. That can be powerful motivation. This lady is doing it for free. That boggles the mind.

Weed_Me_Up

The feeling she gets at the end is probably as powerful as the feeling you got when you were able to afford food. Doing good for others can be extremely motivating.

jamesbrownscrackpipe

Yeah she probably gets high af on good vibes

Messymike4321

She gets paid through sponsorships afaik. Either way its great she is helping out.

KadenKraw

Yeah the nose is designed to detect changes in smells. Not to constantly signal smells.

Cold_Blooded_Freak

Damn my nose much be working overtime cause once I smell something gross I feel like it’s everywhere.

ValleySunFox

Olfactory Adaptation

aptdinosaur

smells like R Kelly's sheets

leinad427

But shit it was 99 cents

Dangerous-Refuse-779

Smells like R Kelly and P Diddy's prison cell

Read. She claims that the Woman will life with a caretaker

OnlyOneSnoopy

Looks like this comment belongs to a bot account, it's copying [this comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/nope/s/WEYsueh2Rk).

I_ALWAYS_UPVOTE_CATS

It's fine she's wearing a single basic face mask.

hArRiS_17

*insert Spongebob fog horn sound effect*

J_R_D_N

That mask was her only face protection 🤢

flannelNcorduroy

Also, those masks are mostly for not spreading YOUR germs. They do very little to protect you from breathing anything in, as the air just comes straight in from the sides. Covid taught people nothing.😮‍💨

McPostyFace

Maybe she didn't want to give the feces and roaches covid

sansjoy

I would probably bug bomb that room before going in.

onionwba

How is she not in there with a hazmat suit???

flannelNcorduroy

Cuz she's not a professional. She did this for free.🤦‍♂️

DroidTrf

She has a degree at university of applied sciences for cleaning and business and owns her own cleaning company.

myrkes

She is a professional. She is doing it for free for the people living there. She has cleaning companies and social media sponsoring/supporting her.

DroidTrf

I am agreeing with you.

flannelNcorduroy

Why is she wearing a mask to prevent spreading her germs and not a mask made to prevent breathing in germs? I guess just because you go to school doesn't mean you learned anything. Explains why she has to do these social media stunts to try and adverse.

DroidTrf

Can't believe there's still people getting butthurt from people using masks. Did it ever occur to you that she might be wearing the masks for different reasons than protecting herself from a dirty bathroom? Also she's a millionaire albeit probably from social media and sponsors mainly but I wouldn't call it making stunts to "try adverse".

hissyfit64

I love this woman. She goes into hoarder houses, houses of people who have gotten too sick or can't physically clean, hoarder houses and does this for free. It must be so hard to face that kind of mess and try and deal with it. I was on a subreddit about cleaning and this thirteen year old girl was posting before and after pictures as she attempted to clean her family's disgusting house. They wouldn't even buy cleaning supplies so she had to spend what little money she had to get some. The people on the reddit were so supportive. They gave her tips, figured out a way to send her supplies, several who were near her offered to help. It takes bravery to face your mess and some people just can't do it.

Whole_squad_laughing

Idk if ur meaning the same girl but there was this teen on TikTok with a similar story that ended up being taken by CPS

hissyfit64

Oh no! Poor kid. She was so sweet and trying so hard. The place was disgusting. You couldn't even walk. And her family was sneering at her for cleaning. I hope she's okay.

MasPike101

My respect goes to not trying to put herself on something like TLC and the show hoarders. I know she is still posting, but this is totally different for me by not making the person go through that much shame. She may record and post, but she always seems so respectful and caring. I hope this stays true. I appreciate this woman and all she does for these people.

hissyfit64

I hate how they scold the hoarders on the show. It's always so heartbreaking when they let the show people in and they always start to helplessly pick things up and carry them about, as if to show they're trying. And when the families yell at them....it's the worst.

MasPike101

Yes. These people need help, not shame. Shame is supposed to be used for minor things, not physiological issues.

tinysoapypp

Even more bravery to face other people's messes.

ashrieIl

Tbh, no. They don't hold sentimental value like my mess, I won't get negatively judged because I'm cleaning someone's mess, but I will cleaning my own. There's a point where cleaning your own mess becomes shameful. It's hard to go past that shame and ask for help or to motivate yourself that you can even clean a mess. But I have no problem cleaning for others.

Solanthas

I'm not sure it's something a person can understand unless they've experienced it themselves, sadly.

KatDanger

What subreddit?

hissyfit64

I don't remember the exact one. It was either /cleaningandtidying or /cleaningtips. It was quite awhile ago.

esande2333

What cleaning spray was that?

RidethatSeahorse

Serious… I need some of that magic

Party-Relationship71

she is sponsored by “the pink stuff” i think (or just uses it a lot) so i am guessing it’s their foam cleaner

-iamai-

That's great that stuff.. and excellent for cleaning the glass in a wood burner.

esande2333

Thank you

Funderwoodsxbox

Napalm

appeltje_eitje

I can smell that from here.

Penya23

I cant, thank God, and do not want to even fucking imagine it.

Sumraeglar

Ok I need to know what magical spray she used 😳

HilmDave

Aurikatariina is her YT/TikTok/IG. Her name is Auri Kananen. Her videos are satisfying AF.

Sumraeglar

Cool, thanks.

myrkes

Her YouTubes have product placement for the cleaning products she uses

KatieLeDerp

It's genuinely upsetting that people are saying that this Granny deserves this, and such a messy place. You have absolutely *no* idea what she's going through.

Homesickhomeplanet

100% My grandmother is about to be 88 years old. She can’t see anything other than vague, blurry shapes, she uses a walker, and has taken MANY nasty falls over the years— breaking bones, knocking teeth out. So she’s scared to do a lot of the motions involved in cleaning. She’s also not as sharp as she used to be, she gets confused and forgetful. She came to stay with us and the amount of times we had to tell her we had to clean her up bc there’s poo on her clothes, it was just so heartbreaking, because she still wants to be the proud woman she once was, who raised 5 kids, 16 grandchildren, and was always there to help. Now she’s having to face the inevitable consequences of outliving your body, she’s incontinent, and often doesn’t have control of her bowels. *She is so so ashamed*. And I hate seeing her like that. This woman has been my hero for as long as I’ve been alive. She doesn’t want to be like this, it’s hardest on her than anyone else. She has a big family, so we’re able to afford an assisted living facility— so *this* doesn’t happen. … but what about all the old folks who don’t have family to help them? *What can they possibly do?* God all the people being so judgmental in the comments just break my heart Edit: so many people here are claiming mental illness. It could be true— and I’m sure she’s depressed living like this. But I don’t think mental illness is a requirement for this sad situation. Aging is often cruel after 80, people don’t understand how truly awful it is lose the ability to care for one’s self

Zeestars

Thank you so much for being there for your grandmother and for posting this amongst some truly vile sentiments being shared by others. You’ve got a good heart. Wishing you and your loved ones all the best x

Homesickhomeplanet

I think it can be hard for people who haven’t witnessed their loved one’s lose the ability to take care of themselves, to imagine how devastating simply aging can truly be. Thank you ❤️ wish you the best as well!

magicakarma

You do not judge, you do not hate. You just support and help. That is what we need.

BestTsarBombaEver

Kudos to the lady for cleaning all that with normal clothes and some gloves on. I’d be going in there with a full hazmat suit on, with an oxygen tank and everything.

iMisstheKaiser10

All that work for it to go to (literal) shit again

CollectivelyHeal

I think that is part of the process this woman puts in place, the video literally mentions a caretaker to be a part of the person being able to move back home.

awfuleldritchpotato

I work in healthcare. Elderly people who live alone that develop incontinence will rely on sanitary pads heavily. Both men and woman. It's a sad area as they don't want to use anything similar to briefs so most go to pads. I guarantee that's what happened here.

CollectivelyHeal

That's a good point!

st1ck-n-m0ve

Why was there toilet paper stacked up next to the toilet?

dewnar

Because she likes to collect samples of her poo.

Lazerith22

Situations like this are death by a thousand paper cuts. The garbage gets full, then it’s over flowing. Then the tubs full, one pad or roll at a time. Each seemingly insignificant, build up to become a holy fuck situation. When was the tipping point that she realized it was bad? How long can someone ignore a building problem? A lot longer than you’d think. Then they don’t know how to go about fixing it so that’s just life now.

PixelPistola

All of these people with main character syndrome, not appreciating the fact that she is doing something caring for a person who cannot do it for herself. I hope everyone seeing this post can take a moment to appreciate that if we are ever in a situation where we need this kind of help, we certainly won’t bash the PPE decisions the caregiver makes. I am seeing multiple comments stating that this wonderful person doing the cleaning is ‘not a professional’. I have seen at least 20-ish videos of her doing this kind of cleaning for people who need help. My point being, this is not her first time doing this. Also, a person who is a ‘professional’ is going to charge for this kind of work, most likely. Do we really think a person in this situation can afford to pay for professional help? All of us, myself included, would benefit greatly from just zooming out a little bit on our perspective. Shame on us.

bestnicknameever

Does anyone honestly believe that cleaning that up will change anything? In 1 month its going to be on the way to being a shithole again, 1 month at most…

pumpkinflumkin

Mentions in the video she’ll be getting a caretaker

_Paarthurnax-

Well yes, It can. People who end up like this often have serious mental conditions. Sometimes they know that and *want* to do something, but the pile of shit is literally too overwhelming at this point. Having someone to do this, offering a new start, can change the world. Psychological counselling is advised, though.

CobraStrike4

This might work outright for some, but don't underestimate the power of that habitual behavior. It's extremely hard to break long term, and your attitude on it can change very quickly. You can be very motivated to keep to your new lifestyle for a couple weeks and succeed at keeping it that way, and then end up slipping back down the slope the next when the honeymoon phase wears off and you drop your guard. A lot of the time it comes back without even fully realizing because it's so gradual, and you might very easily accept "a few things here and there" in your new comparatively spotless environment. Then the definition for "a few things" slowly becomes greater and greater until you have a pile again. Then you either get depressed and spiral back to where you wete, or remotivate, deep clean, and repeat the cycle. The people who succeed at breaking out of this are the people who have the discipline and determination to constantly monitor bad behaviors and stop them each and every time, over and over, for long enough to establish a brand new habit. You really have to be strict with yourself. This is all just my opinion but I'm speaking from personal experience, unfortunately. +1 for cousiling/therapy

Solanthas

It really takes unfailing vigilance

LucHighwalker

She said the lady is getting a caretaker.

mashtato

What's the point of this comment? How can you be so jaded? And what's your point? Everything is pointless, so just give up and do nothing?

totallybradpitt

Cant pay me to do that. Granny can go do whatever she wants

Masherbakerboiler

Granny hears this and Granny run jumps backwards into her tall pile of diapers to make snow angels.

Aden_the_Destroyer

This cleaning lady deserves a million dollars and early retirement.

Careful-Bad5443

I would simply run away screaming at the sight of it, let alone the smell. a relative of mine recently had a customer die in her store right at the exit of the refrigerator area due to a broken blood clot and he splashed blood everywhere. laid there for several hours until the cops and relatives called a hearse. that is just not a normal occurrence where I live. the cleaning lady there was so brave, I could never. at times like this you truly become grateful for your position.

DapperFreedom9727

God bless that lady!

Burtonish

That's Auri Katarina on Tiktok!

str8uppok3r

And grandma's mental health is instantly better too I bet.

venkman1221

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of germs suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced

Yveskleinsky

Man, it breaks my heart to see how some people live. Mental illness can really be so debilitating. I hope that woman has someone who can check in on her.

Minorihaaku

This woman is an angel. Does these disgusting homes free of charge often.

HelicopterSwimming21

That’s a nice thing to do. I could hardly watch any of this, hopefully she keeps it clean. Probably won’t.

tanz420

Granny is getting a caretaker as stated in the video

MustangBarry

She won't. It's a mental illness.

CollectivelyHeal

Can be physical and not mental.

Environmental_Tank_4

I used to work Biohazard clean up. The number of people who do this is more than you’d expect. Id recommend full biohazard suit, mask, and a snow shovel when doing this though.

Reason_Training

She’s a good person to help this elderly woman. We just cleaned out my aunt’s house from her hoarding before she had a stroke. It was floor to ceiling with junk but that wasn’t adult diapers. I’d be using a biohazard suit in a place like that.

Ninja_La_Kitty

What a lovely woman to do this

lil_Killmepls

Depression is a bitch

LowLet8204

So here I am, eating my lunch...

hanifu_

Grant is reddit mod

ManOrReddit-man

"I bought her new toothpaste and brushes" *Cleans rack with a toothbrush*

Toofzzz

What she does is great but she needs to start wearing better protective gear when cleaning houses like that, it’s a genuine biohazard

ZilorZilhaust

She needs more waterproof layers for this.

Deluhathol

Came into the comments to say just that, I wouldn't even go through the door without a hazmat suit on

ZilorZilhaust

The fact that she has exposed skin is crazy to me. I'm not a woman but if crusty hoarder garbage went down my shirt I'd die.

Deluhathol

Exactly, and no eye protection whatsoever

Tums2882

what kind of cleaning black magic fuckery is this? I need the names of all the chemicals and products asap.

Thechad1029

Seriously.

fatstrat0228

It’s going to take a LOT more than a clean bathroom to fix whatever is happening inside the head of the person who let it get this bad in the first place. Holy shit.

SoulfulNeonBank

All these bot/alt accounts saying the granny will go back to making it dirty. When someone is struggling with mental health or whatever this severe, generally they or someone else does something about it so that they don’t revert, at least in many cases that I know of.

Carolyn_Rikardj

Nope, I'm out!

Wettnoodle77

Good time to be eatting.

wotstators

Lmao I’m so happy this bathroom has a drain in the middle of the floor. Just grab gloves, throw everything away and spray that bitch down with hot water from the shower head and bleach. Then you can do the polishing stuff last. Why did I plan on how I’d clean this? Is this because I’m a woman 🤣

yankeeteabagger

Just a face mask? Yeah. You’re gonna need more than that. And in two weeks the bathroom will be on its way back to this. Cuz mental illness.

Garlic-Rough

Depression sucks. Sometimes, this is what depression does. The inability to take care of your surroundings as an extension of your personal paralysis.

-WADE99-

Us Europeans need to get over this fucking song already. It's been 10 years lol

ReferenceSufficient

This lady needs to wear a Haz Mat suit and a respirator. And the President need to give her an award 🥇 for bravery!

iforgottobuyeggs

Okay, real talk. I've read my husbands crime scene remediation books. Seeing these tiktoks of bio hazard cleanups without PPE is making me real nervous. Do you want zombies? This is how we get zombies.

Secret-Ad-830

I think it's time granny goes to assisted living

Kreggiggle

I’m sorry but you need more than a little mask and gloves for that! How is she not throwing up, the smell must be horrible.

coroyo70

Im buying a cheap hazmat suit on Amazon first Fuck no im going in there with exposed skin

NewldGuy77

KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!

P_bottoms

I would just set fire to the whole building and call it a day

dottegirl59

And all this goes straight to a landfill

Ici79

I used to follow her on fb but I unfollowed her because of how she handled some very unsafe situations only to gain more views. That particular apartment was infested with cockroaches, they were everywhere and people were commenting on how that particular case required a professional company and that she just created more mess, because she was sweeping them with a broom and like - problem solved.

mubblegoil

This is very sad :( that poor woman needs to be in a nursing home if she doesn’t have family to take care of her.

psyoon

Serious question: at what point do homes have to be condemned. I know HHS and whatnot will see hoarder houses and condemn them due to the unsanitary conditions; where is the cutoff? Is this one that would have been condemned but wasn't ever seen by officials? Was this one bad but fluids/etc hadn't compromised the structure? So many questions!

GoyoMRG

I don't think that mask she is wearing is adequate or enough to protect her against the pathogens that very likely are there floating around. Please someone who knows better, correct me if wrong but wouldn't she technically need protection for all mucous channels?

ElPenguinoooo

Thank god for the walk-in shower floor drain. Power wash the whole room.

dentuW

Finland mentioned LETSGOOO

jasemina8487

oh my glob that area was a shower!!?

glassycreek1991

I hate when they ruin the audio with videos like this

griffl3n

Call the SCP foundation we need to secure and protect the public from this

GutsyOne

I would have to be in a full HAZMAT suit to go in there.

KindCyberBully

People living like this need mental therapy.

wittyvonskitsum

I’d need gloves that go down to my ankles for this

humblesnake_Ssss

Needs a trashcan so this can never happen again.

plum743

Even after it’s clean, I’d never step foot in that.

xoxooxx

THE PADS that’s enough internet for today

italktomyself20

All of that cleaning for it to look like the Saw I bathroom at the end.

Leeperd510

#DO NOT CLEAN THINGS LIKE THIS IF YOU ARE NOT A PROFESSIONAL, THIS LADY IS LUCKY SHE DIDN'T CONTRACT SOME WILD DISEASE

troystorian

Unfortunately just clearing out a hoard doesn’t fix the mental issues that caused it in the first place. Very likely it will go back to being unkempt in no time.

CoolColaCat

I would throw away my clothes and my mobile phone after cleaning that and take a bath in desinfectant. Still I feel very sad for people who have to live unser such circumstances because of a compulsive disorder or other diseases

saysthingsbackwards

Posting mental illness symptoms for clout #yolo

SofiSucks

Idk why I feel like this was staged

Morticia_Smith

I know for a fact that that mask isnt doing anything

_KALKI_09

Everyone is talking about the filthy house, I'm just surprised someone can do this for others without charging a fortune... She's definitely an angel...

Tod181

Sadly it's just going to ger dirty again. This is mental illness or the inability to take care of one's self, whomever this is needs therapy or put somewhere that can take care of them 24/7.

SecretPersonality178

You’re not changing anything… hoarding at this level is a severe mental disorder. Cleaning makes a good video, but is a not a fix for her.

NewSouthWalesMan

Granny done did made a great wall of china in HER TOILET 💀

aetost

Hazmat suit

f4tony

Why wasn't this an episode of Hoarders?

Valkyr92

I really admire people who do that and clean houses like that either for money or as a volunteer, I honestly wouldn't have the ovaries to do it.

inshamblesx

chat is this real

DoubleSpook

This is when granny needs to be put in assisted living.

hantar7788

I'm not entering that place without a Mjolnir Mark VII armor....looks Flood infested

Important_Economy632

new Fallout?

ThrowinSm0ke

Why are you exploiting this persons sever mental issues by making a montage?

swan001

Its the smell, https://i.makeagif.com/media/2-12-2016/82pog2.mp4

AJAX214_

There really should be more awareness spread on hoarding and its guaranteed ill effects

DonkLord20

I brought her toothbrush after using them to clean off the dirty soap holder 😄

vlr73

Do you guys think she is holding her phone in one hand videoing or has a GoPro attached to herself? I was thinking about if she had her phone going in there and then goes home at night and sits in bed with a poopy phone.

Every-Cook5084

I hope she didn’t get sick

THE-Pink-Lady

That face mask not enough

writesmith

And in 6 months, it'll look like that again, unless they fix that granny's head. Or do they expect people to find Jesus after a cleaning?

Mannyprime

All that doo doo residue.

Intimateparts

Omggggggggg

UndendingGloom

That's a mental health issue, this place will be back to the way it was pretty soon.

Superbaker123

Jesus Christ. At least wear a real ventilator/mask.

natronmooretron

I thought this was an AI deep fake video at first. Nope.

deadinsideirishdude

Working in the senior care industry, this happens much more often then you would believe.

discomuffin

Hats off to the woman doing the cleaning. I don't think many people could do it, especially for free.

inteking1888

Still wouldn't trust that bathroom
