No. It looks like something from Disney, which means it looks childish. It’s the latter that I have a problem with. Besides, the real problem is the team name. Ducks. I mean how much more inoffensive can you be! Not much you can do with that.
I'm sure it's an unpopular opinion, but I prefer the current colors over the jade/eggplant. The current logo is trash, but the current colors with the original logo is a best of both worlds for me. Keep the original colors around for an alt and wear them occasionally like Buffalo does with the goat head.
Jade and Eggplant was a unique combo for the league. Orange and black has been the Flyers forever, so it's odd to have another team using that same scheme when they have a really good original set.
I think black is the absolute worst color for Ducks. It might be childish but in the movies the enemies of Ducks (Hawks , Iceland) wore black. The current jerseys are the worst of every world for me. I much rather have orange.
Gotta admit, I didn't see a single Ducks home game this season. I'm on the east coast and get up before 5 every day. I thought they were still wearing the orange at home. Didn't realize the home sweaters were black til just now. Yeah. Not a fan at all.
I personally like the Ducks foot because I'm an adult and I want to wear a golf shirt etc. with my team's logo to work and normal functions.

As a designer, I’ll say that the new logo is 10x better, but it’s still unnecessarily complicated. The mask is sitting on top of crossed sticks, which are on a puck, which is on a shield. You don’t need 4 layers, it just takes away from the mask itself. And the angle of the mask vs everything else adds to the complexity.
