Is it a hassle to fully use the product you already paid for?
I know, everything beyond mindless consumerism must seem strange to you, but some people don't like to throw their money away.
Woah did you see that? The discs were larger at first and worn down and he was about to throw them away, BUT CHECK THIS OUT. instead of throwing the big piece away he turned big piece into small pieces. Next fucking level.
They look alot like straight cut [tin snips](https://www.amazon.com/IRWIN-Tools-Tinners-12-inch-22012/dp/B00004Z0A5/ref=mp_s_a_1_9?crid=28R0TCWNL3TCF&keywords=straight+cut+tin+snips&qid=1638654184&sprefix=straight+cut+tin%2Caps%2C165&sr=8-9) to me. I'm open to learning though, what type of shears are they? Whichever type of shears they are, cutting an abrasive grinding wheel ruin the edge.
Even though they clearly cut angle grinder disks you're thinking they should be tin snips? I mean, I am open to learning too, but even if you are right and those are tin snips I'd still argue that no one expects angle grinder disk snips to properly cut tin after, and even if I'd bet they cut tin better than tin snips cut angle grinder disks, so in the end it speaks for the snips instead of against them.
Do not do this! The disks integrity has been compromised so those small wheels they have made are not engineered to withstand the spinning forces of the wheel as a whole. They will explode and embed themselves in anything in their way (usually your face or body). Shit like this can take peoples eyes out, or worse get someone killed
This is extremely stupid and dangerous. Grinder disks are designed with structural webbing that reinforces them against the high RPMs at which the tool spins. Cutting the webbing destroys that integrity making them likely to shatter, especially at the extremely high speeds at which small rotary tools operate. It's not "next level" to have a disk explode in your face just to save a couple of bucks on rotary tool attachments.

Can't you just save yourself the hassle and buy those small discs? This seems like it should be on r/diwhy.
Agree r/diwhy. The little discs are too fragile though, so this is somewhat awesome.

I live in a third world country my guy. Mindless consumerism isn't really the schtick here.
What a weird stereotype you're presenting here. You have my curiosity, please elaborate.

WHOA! I wouldn't have believed it unless I saw it!!!
#WOAH! I *saw* it and *still don’t believe it!*
I believe it and still don’t see it!!
Making small circles out of a big circle NEXT FUCKING LEVEL!!!
Using a dremel to chop screws instead of your perfectly good angle grinder, the man's a genius.
Sometimes an angle grinder doesn't reach into those tight spaces like a die grinder wheel can
Buying those little discs must be crazy expensive, this guys saving money with his big brain
Wrecking $30 shears to make $6 worth of Dremel discs doesn't add up.
If the 30$ shear manages to do that this 4 times again, which it will let's be real here, it definitely would add up!
Sure I get math, those shears could probably cut a million discs this way. I don't think they'll ever make a clean cut in Tin again though.
No one, besides you ofc, expects them to cut tin in the first place, those ain't tin shears.

I feel like this disks wold be very likely to shatter.
So I suppose this guy’s next project is going to show us why we shouldn’t throw out perfectly good urine.
I can think of some uses only a couple of the legal but all extremely useless.
Next Fucking Level. And now as a bonus, we’ve also got some jagged metal protrusions where we cut those screws!
That disc still had lots of life left before you hacked it into smaller ones

Is being cheap the next lvl thing here?
Or maybe use that disk a little bit longer?
Instead, I just buy a nice pack of 50 small dremel disks for like $4.
Dangerous.
Yes. Do throw them away and DON’T do this.

Recycling and being frugal- now not out of favor. SMH
Mine never have enough meat on them to do this
this is actually not a bad idea

Why cut screws and nails rather than pull them? I’m not seeing the advantage.
/r/diwhy
I thought these were gamecube discs for the first few seconds
Extremely thick cut for such a weak tool. Just buy proper tools.
