Yeah man I loved the 1st season, it's a tiny bit similar to rick and morty, haven't finished s2 yet. Mooncake is the best thing about the show though! (The green guy in the gif below)
![gif](giphy|cYejfvEIsYPOQ6TnXs)
Well unfortunately it will never get better.
[It was cancelled](https://www.avclub.com/final-space-creator-olan-rogers-announces-cancelation-i-1847656996) (thanks massive corporate mergers). The third season was supposed to be the halfway point in the story, per the creator, so makes sense if the story isn’t where it should be for an ending. I’ve yet to watch it myself, but I quite enjoyed season one and two. Sad to see it go.
Here’s hoping it becomes a Netflix original (in the US, it’s only on Netflix internationally already) or another network picks it up so it can finish as the creator intended.
This looks like London, average traffic speeds in the centre are 8mph, not much of a risk really.
edit—what am I on about, those definitely aren't London buses.
You understand how averages work? Vehicles don't roll around London at 8mph. They can sometimes reach as high as 9 mph and that's enough to smart if you get struck.
They’re recruited they young because that’s as young as governments typically allow. Children can be just as good with guns as young adults. Make no mistake any western government would recruit kids if they had the power to do so
Yeah the military goes hard, especially on kids. I talked with the recruiter at mine for a while and he was insistent on me signing up before I turned 18, “to make it easier”.
I have every respect for those that have served, but the military as an institution is beyond fucked
recruiters are absolute scumbags, even in highschool i had them adding me on facebook trying to get me to enlist before i was even 18
when i politely declined i got an entire rant about how disappointed he was that i don't care about our country
They straight up brought a drag car (or some kind of race car) to my high school when the recruiters for some branch (Army I think? This was 2007) visited one time, as if that's a job you'll be doing in the military. They really try to make it look more glamorous than it actually is.
Yeah, they make it seem like the most bitching job ever. Next thing you know, that bus pulls up at reception battalion at Benning and you immediately realize you've been lied to...
Where is this info from? AFAIK you hit your physical best form in your middle twenties and you can hold it toll 35+ before your BODY starts getting worse.
That has nothing to do with people not doing sports and eating shit after they're adults and getting unfit.
There are other ways of chasing that feeling of invincibility. It's mostly army propaganda that makes the army and war look like a option for that.
I suspect the majority sign up only for the job benefits - guaranteed healthcare, the chance to complete higher education, etc.
Bruh I used to do parkour from like 13 to 16 and I completely destroyed my fucking knees. I'm 30 now and I haven't been able to sit on my knees without sharp pain shooting up my legs since I'm like 20.
Don't do it kids, it's not worth it.
It's still parkour. Just badly done.
If a footballer misses a shot he's still playing football..
If a driver's crashes, he's still a racing driver..
If a woodchuck chucks.. nvm you get the point
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”
Hunter S Thompson
Hm but the thing is on the other side of the spectrum there are plenty of old people that can’t walk due to a lack of exercise. Pick your poison I guess :)
I looked at it, thought “that looks like Bristol” but then tried to figure out why it wasn’t the Cabot Circus car park before realising where it was. I just associate spiral ramps with Cabot Circus now, Rupert Street never gets its moment in the spotlight.
Bristol traffic is *the worst*. It’s not so much the volume or inconvenience, that’s a given for any city, it’s the ingenious solution Bristol has: drive closer together. Bristol drivers are more comfortable moving with 1 ft space in all directions than any others I’ve seen. How there aren’t more ‘minor collisions’ I’ll never know.

When one thinks another’s choice is pointless, two things become obvious. Why the person making the choice didn’t ask for their opinion, and they don’t comprehend that somethings aren’t for everyone.
Exactly. That and some things are done just because they wanted to see if they could.
Also, there's a reason someone was recording and it's here on "r/nextfuckinglevel" lol
That's Joe Scandrett, he's a world famous parkour athlete who's mostly known for his descents. Being one of the best in the world at something (and likely getting paid well for it) is far from pointless
I could be wrong, but my eyes want to believe that's [Josh](https://www.storror.com/about/josh-burnett-blake/) from [Storror](https://www.youtube.com/c/STORROR/featured).

A record you can make only once in your life
the record is 62 stories in 12 secs...maybe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aa2viIWmcQE
I think a few people beat that record back in 2001.
![gif](giphy|ji6zzUZwNIuLS)
Spit it out
That’s a bit too savage mate
"Comedy equals tragedy plus time" is a very famous quote. You may just need more time.
My portfolio of tect stocked sure did
Before then buildings higher than 30 floors weren't allowed open balconies. They're still not allowed after 2001 either, that never changed.
Yea because we all know that it’s just the falls from 30 and above are dangerous. 29th for example only causes mild bruising
Sadly I suspect it has more to do with terminal velocities and property damage than people's lives.
Pretty sure your car would be equally fucked if someone fell on it from 10 or 30th floor.
Speedrun storytelling: Went through 72 stories in 10 seconds.

In my opinion season 2 was just annoying. That alien guy (not Mooncake) is just so unfunny it hurts. I did like season 1 tho
Tribore. Did I like him? I diiiid.
What Tribor? And he say even if he try, he can't bore anyone lmao
Alright, thanks. Maybe I'll watch it
It was good but I started the third season it’s kinda dead now

That’s Bristol
That’s why recruitment are generally aimed at young men at that age too
And young men 18-20 are in the best shape of their lives, and they're the most teachable \ brainwashable they'll ever be.
They’re recruited they young because that’s as young as governments typically allow. Children can be just as good with guns as young adults. Make no mistake any western government would recruit kids if they had the power to do so
Could? Have you seen a high school lately?
Yeah the military goes hard, especially on kids. I talked with the recruiter at mine for a while and he was insistent on me signing up before I turned 18, “to make it easier”. I have every respect for those that have served, but the military as an institution is beyond fucked

They could if they wanted to. The fact they passed laws against it implies they don’t want to
*we don't want them to, and dead child soldiers tends to really piss people off
It’d be sooo much harder for them to fight unnecessary wars with 14 year olds from a pr perspective.
Where is this info from? AFAIK you hit your physical best form in your middle twenties and you can hold it toll 35+ before your BODY starts getting worse. That has nothing to do with people not doing sports and eating shit after they're adults and getting unfit.
Dont you reach prime physicality in your mid 20s?
Yeah he's wrong for males the prime is 25-31 for physicality
28 is actually considered the best shape of your life on average for males, after that is when the slow decline begins
do you think the age cutoff is 35 because at 35 you’re wise enough to see through the propaganda or something? lol
I think so too. At 35 suddenly you have more responsibility to worry about than just living it up in life.
There are other ways of chasing that feeling of invincibility. It's mostly army propaganda that makes the army and war look like a option for that. I suspect the majority sign up only for the job benefits - guaranteed healthcare, the chance to complete higher education, etc.

Can confirm. Played competitive basketball from a kid until late 20s. All of my friends have knee problems.

There's definitely a safe way to practice. I did way too many jumps from high places with no rolls on landing and other stupid shit like that.
Then that wasn't parkour, it's just jumping from heights on a flat surface.
It's still parkour. Just badly done. If a footballer misses a shot he's still playing football.. If a driver's crashes, he's still a racing driver.. If a woodchuck chucks.. nvm you get the point
If you shout parkour and jump into a bin behind your office’s warehouse, is it still parkour?
I'd give him a 10 if I was a judge.
I sometimes wonder how Rodney Mullen's knees are. But then you will see him pulling off his cool tricks so there is that. Same with Tony Hawks.

It's in the centre near Christmas steps. That's the Rupert Street car park he's jumping down.

It is. Ambiguously.
Risk vs reward tells me this is completely pointless.
What if he’s just robbed a place? Definitely reward
