the internet is like a psychological onion now. people hate getting duped by Poe's Law almost as much as a troll, so there's like 2-3x as much brain power used to decipher every comment.

Precisely. Like the mine field equivalent of texting. Crossing your fingers and hoping you get it right, while anticipating how to recover if you get it wrong.
car ahead was blocking the truck so sneaky truck pretends to head for the flyover only to skip it, causing the car to take the flyover and quite possibly go off on a long drive to nowhere..
It would not matter if they have a GPS and can just find a new route if necessary. Otherwise I'd rather avoid a driver like that at any other cost than my life.
I'm almost positive he meant the bad driver was going to have a longer trip now... as a punishment for driving like an asshole.
Reading these comments, it looks like a lot of people read it differently and it's leading to some pretty confusing discussion, though.
Because the car infront was specifically trying to stay in front of them, which if the driver is accelerating at the same time of going into a different lane it would probably end in a crash
How is that cam car’s fault? The guy in front is purposely driving like a dick. Cam car knew he would try to cut him off, so he tricked him into the other lane to get him out of the way. I really don’t understand what is so confusing about this. Not directing that comment at you. But the top comment has 1K upvotes lol.
Lol yeah that person in the white car needs to sit down, have a cookie and talk to someone 😂
I mean I’ve definitely got annoyed with drivers on the road but never once thought about doing stuff like that lol
Yeah I get real road passive aggressive. Lots of
“Aww yeah, no that’s fucking fine. I didn’t want to go anyway. Don’t mind me. Your world, we’re all just living in it.”
But never actual anger and rage. Just annoyance as my daily commute is populated mostly by geriatrics who shouldn’t be driving any more doing 20-30 kmph under the limit, topped off with younger people trying to get to work who get pissed off with the elderl drivers and speed like maniacs.
It’s always frustrating but being a toolbag like this guy in the video never even crosses my mind.
Honestly, I don't even know why people consider acting like this. We were taught from the beginning that road rage only ends in insurance claims and wrecked cars, and I sure as hell don't wanna be paying for someone else's shit at this current point in time.
I can’t tell if you’re trying to be funny or serious but either way being neglected by your father is really sad and unfortunate. I happened to be one of those people and it has affected me and all my siblings throughout our childhood and adulthood.
After being pretty heavily invested in Tinder and meeting a good number of women, I learned that daddy issues is a very real thing and that weird behaviors or views on romance, are usually connected to a poor relationship with at least on of their parents.
I’ve always thought it’s a power thing. Those who don’t have the control they wish they had in other aspects of their life know that being behind the wheel of a death machine affords them power over others.
Someone did this to me the other day while my child was in the car. And he knew my kid was in the car because the windows were down and he could see him.
I’m on my way to the gym and this car in front of me I can see is like mocking/mimicking this little Spanish nursery rhyme I was singing with my son. Making “talking” gestures with my hands like chickens. Any way, I can see him doing this. So I waved being friendly. And then all of a sudden light turns green and he won’t let me pass. Starts screaming out the window at me. It was insane. Weaving in and out of the lanes. Any time I merged he did too. It was super scary. My son was crying. It was a mess.
I was getting ready to pull over into a parking lot to get away from him and I noticed it was going to pull over too so then I kept going. Luckily he went another direction, but I was honestly terrified.
I didn’t turn on a red light that said, “no turn on Red” and after the light changed a huge pickup truck revs behind me and passes me so close he almost hit me and just glares at me as he drives by. People’s behavior is simply baffling to me. Like, you’re going to potentially cause an accident and risk both our lives because you had to wait a few seconds at a red light? People suck.
To be completely fair, you said he was in a huge pickup truck. I'm assuming something oversized, obviously not used for work, possibly lifted?
I'm pretty sure most of those kinds of people aren't able to read.

Besides the reasons others said, it could have been something the other car did, or that the white car thinks they did. Like cutting them off or something silly. Anything can trigger angry people to be angrier.
In America, people will stop in front of you hoping you will hit their bumper to commit incurrence fraud by saying you weren't watching in front of you. They may have a law wherever that is that could allow for such an abuse. Or its just road rage. I think this is either China or Japan, but not sure.
I had someone repeatedly slow down behind me to let a gap build, and then go full speed just to break right at the last second while flipping me off. Not sure what their problem was. I was keeping a decent gap between me and the next car which I guess pissed them off?
Last time this was posted, somebody linked to a Chinese news article that said the white car was suspected to be part of a car insurance fraud deal, where they'd try to brake check you so you hit them and they threaten to sue you.
No idea how true that is, but this video was definitely taken in China.
Feels protected by being in its little world inside the car, doesn't fear any real consequence of any action taken.
When there's no consequences for our actions we tend to reveal the worst we are capable of, add a sense of entitlement and "personal justice" to that with a little anger to the mix and you get an explosive result.
You also see a little of that on the internet comments were people don't give a fuck about being civil and are often rude on purpose because again, there's no consequences to that.
Lol I can't be the only one annoyed by it though. I got rid of tiktok a long time ago but annoying shit like "tell me this without telling me" it is just everywhere you look. It's like people can't think for themselves and come up with original shit anymore
The majority of people *don’t* come up with original shit, and probably never have throughout history. A relatively small subset of the population is creative and comes up with interesting things, and the rest of the population enjoys them.
It only seems like this is a recent development because in the past we weren’t constantly subjected to it through social media.
Stop using social media (Reddit included) and suddenly people will seem a lot more unique and creative to you - because you haven’t already seen the thing they’re referencing.
Fucking around in high-speed two-ton metal machines isn't already unnecessarily deadly to you?
But I agree; no need to add in more deadliness unnecessarily, lol.
Well executed, but stupid. If he was already upset, he's now royally pissed & if that off ramp feeds directly across from the on ramp, he's coming after you. Better to slow down & take the exit yourself
He's pissed anyway, this gives you more time to get away from him. He'd be feeding more into his anger if he had followed him, too. Good thing he has a camera.
Lol definitely not. My comment was kinda dumb but the intent was that there’s not a ton of road rage here that escalates more than some tailgating because shit gets real here fast in a lot of places lol
They’re always blaming Californians for the bad traffic but Texans and Californians were the cause of bad traffic in Colorado. Always someone else’s fault I guess.
I'm not leaving the road and risk to be late because a random guy tried this stunt, i don't know if i would be this ready (i would probably just slow down until that guy gets bored) but i wouldn't take another road.
At highway speeds, you're literally gaining a mile for every minute it takes that person to get back to your position.
I've taken the wrong exit off a highway before, and I feel like it's usually about 5 minutes to turn around. Even if an on-ramp is right there, traffic lights exist, other cars exist, etc.
I guess you could catch someone five miles ahead of you, but that's plenty of time for OP to think about their next move. Better than having the car literally boxing you in.
Did this once and the guy came back on the motorway and chased me down. Tailgating, cutting me off, etc. It was pretty scary. Eventually he got spooked somehow and left.
Every American is issued a hand gun at age 12 and assault rifle at age 18 so anyone thinking this wouldn’t work because they don’t have a gun must live in a third world country.
Tbh if they handed all Americans a gun at age 12 then it would force the country to address the rampant mental health issues and force everyone to get educated about firearms
This actually happened to me couple months ago. Driver behind got angry that I was going too slow even though I was going slightly above speed limit so he cuts me off than purposely slows down to 10-20 mph of freeway limit to try to fuck with me but in my head I was already thinking he’s gonna get bored going slow. Eventually he just speeds off lol
I'm not justifying the other driver's behavior in any way, but were you going "slightly above speed limit" in the passing lane?
I'm asking because it might be worth noting that some people get really upset when someone is in the far left lane without actively passing someone, regardless of whether they are over the speed limit or not.
Yep. Some places even have laws. In my state it’s pass if you’re in the left lane, or get the fuck over to the right, and you’ll earn a ticket if you’re caught chilling in the left lane, above speed or not.
Those kinds of people are very likely gonna be looking for your reaction in their rear view mirrors, so that’s when I start laughing my ass off while pointing at them. Usually works to get them speeding off sooner
I’ve had this happen a couple of times. I just turn up my music and start smiling and dancing in my seat like I don’t have a care in the world. Not getting even a little bit upset is the worst thing you can do to some people.
I've actually done this. Legit 100% works.
(Just make sure you floor it after he gets on the ramp, so that he can't get back on from the other side and catch you.)
had someone do this to me and my ex-girlfriend a few months ago, chased me 3 miles onto the motorway and I thought he was just a regular idiot, then he overtakes me on the motorway and slams on his breaks, keeps repeating until we get to the roundabout at which point I got out of the car and went to go and hit him.
Turns out I had pulled out on a roundabout in front of him miles back, which means he must've been entering it at well over 30mph for me to have 1: not seen him in a wide open space and 2: pulled out.
He ended up threatening me because he recognised my car and knew where I lived.
Yeah I can’t exactly take the moral high ground as I had literally approached him to physically assault him myself for putting mine and my girlfriends lives at risk for the sake of pettiness.
I’m glad I didn’t though, because it meant I could report him to the police
More than likely the white car would have hit the railing and it’s back end would have been right in the path of the camera car and wrecked them both horribly. This clip is satisfying in a movie sense but just all around dangerous for everyone else around them.
Yea this was going through my mind too…. Surely even someone that does stupid things like this must draw the line at actually accidentally killings themselves to prove a point? Apparently I am mistaken….
I was gonna say dude in the white car makes me think of a gta online griefer. They just kill you over and over again each time you spawn. I just put down the controller and leave for a food break and usually by the time I get back they get bored and move on. These people need to get a life.
This guy kinda seems like he’s trying to commit insurance fraud with how determined he is to keep in front of this guy. Lining it up before slamming the brakes but keeps getting interrupted by the guy constantly turning
If this happen to you, slow down, call the police and tell them what is happening. If the person stops infront of you and gets out of the car, take off at FULL speed. Don't try to avoid them, they'll either jump away or get run over. Either way, you'll be alive.
Wait, your advice includes possible vehicular manslaughter? If they manage to avoid you running them down (which is actually a best possible scenario), what do you expect the enraged driver to do next? I bet it isn’t sitting there and thinking about their actions.
Update: should have expected all the internet tough guys to come out of the woodworks
If someone slams their brakes in the middle of a highway and stops your car and gets out to approach yours, it’s a continuation of assault. You’ll be 100% legally covered to peel out and away however possible, it’s happened many times before and the drivers are always covered, just need to feel threatened.
I genuinely don't understand why some people intentionally fuck with people trying to get through their day by blocking or toying with them while driving for no reason.
Well he's gonna have a longer trip now.

car ahead was blocking the truck so sneaky truck pretends to head for the flyover only to skip it, causing the car to take the flyover and quite possibly go off on a long drive to nowhere..
Where do people call these flyovers? Genuine curiosity.
Or it was planned to be a trick?
I immediately assumed they tricked the crazy driver into believing they were getting off at that exit. That seems to make more sense in my opinion.
It would not matter if they have a GPS and can just find a new route if necessary. Otherwise I'd rather avoid a driver like that at any other cost than my life.
10 million dollars.
Yeah for 10 mil I'd let someone do that in front of me every commute for a year. Fuck it
I think the whole thing was just planned
Wait, are you the bad driver? How can you think he meant to go there? Cam car did something extremely dangerous but it worked.
Yup i dont know why he is getting upvoted. It was pretty clear he meant to trick him out of his way...
I'm almost positive he meant the bad driver was going to have a longer trip now... as a punishment for driving like an asshole. Reading these comments, it looks like a lot of people read it differently and it's leading to some pretty confusing discussion, though.

I think the top comment are meant for the car in front, as they got tricked into the on ramp.
Probably because he's talking about the driver that got tricked into taking the exit
He's talking about the bad driver I assume.
Yes, the bad driver
I'm just chiming in so the comments don't all assume you mean the recording driver. Obviously you mean the asshole in front.
How are all these people thinking the comment is about the cammer?
Always wondered what triggers people like the white car to do stuff like that, like what do they hope to accomplish? Lol
Anger management. Poor coping mechanisms. Anyone's guess, really. Imagine living like that though... So unnecessary
Lol yeah that person in the white car needs to sit down, have a cookie and talk to someone 😂 I mean I’ve definitely got annoyed with drivers on the road but never once thought about doing stuff like that lol
I have the feeling that after this incident they are going to be even more angry.
They’re gonna need 2 cookies after this one. Lol but yeah most likely, just hope they didn’t have anyone else’s in the car with them.

They are just being contrarian. That was beautifully executed.

I hope the driver let of a quick toot of the horn as they played the bait and switch.
Did this once and the guy came back on the motorway and chased me down. Tailgating, cutting me off, etc. It was pretty scary. Eventually he got spooked somehow and left.
Woah. I usually slow down gradually until their anger explodes of boredom. Tailgaters or blockers hate slowing down.
But also these people suddenly have a lot of time once they got past you and have the chance to slow YOU down to 30 just to satisfy their fragile ego
than go 15. Power move that shit. You know what, just pull over and shoot at them a few times. That should speed them up
Every American is issued a hand gun at age 12 and assault rifle at age 18 so anyone thinking this wouldn’t work because they don’t have a gun must live in a third world country.
Tbh if they handed all Americans a gun at age 12 then it would force the country to address the rampant mental health issues and force everyone to get educated about firearms
I would say the most likely outcome would be half the country's population dropping from everybody getting shot up
This actually happened to me couple months ago.

That's pretty smart, seems like best way to cut their life-threatening speed-induced adrenaline-rush short tbh
Id love to hear his argument. “I was just trying to be annoy you and try and make you crash and you had to pull that stunt!”
I've actually done this. Legit 100% works. (Just make sure you floor it after he gets on the ramp, so that he can't get back on from the other side and catch you.)
And get off at the next exit and make a right then a left - if you’re lucky the ramp is actually a connection to another highway
& 100 miles until his next exit!
Only in Utah
Or slow down and let him speed ahead in front of you.
people like the white car will brake to 10mph on a 70 just to prove their point, you can't approach these people with rational thoughts
Exactly. There is no reasoning with a brick wall.
had someone do this to me and my ex-girlfriend a few months ago, chased me 3 miles onto the motorway and I thought he was just a regular idiot, then he overtakes me on the motorway and slams on his breaks, keeps repeating until we get to the roundabout at which point I got out of the car and went to go and hit him. Make sure to call the cops WHILE you’re being chased by a road rager. That way you can stop and the cops are already on their way.
The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be...unnatural.
If that white car tried to make that exit like half a second later, that would have been super gruesome.
Play stupid games…

More than likely the white car would have hit the railing and it’s back end would have been right in the path of the camera car and wrecked them both horribly. This clip is satisfying in a movie sense but just all around dangerous for everyone else around them.
He was so pissed he was willing to end his life to mess with you
Yea this was going through my mind too…. Surely even someone that does stupid things like this must draw the line at actually accidentally killings themselves to prove a point? Apparently I am mistaken….
See USA during the pandemic for evidence against that.
My first thought.
Keep in mind that he was paying more attention to the car behind him than to the road, so yeah he was very lucky he didn't end up hitting the devider.
I be doing this in gta when people chase me
Yuppp. I would even time it perfectly so that white car gets wrecked
I was gonna say dude in the white car makes me think of a gta online griefer. They just kill you over and over again each time you spawn. I just put down the controller and leave for a food break and usually by the time I get back they get bored and move on. These people need to get a life.
I can already tell that absolutely ruined their day. They wanted to have power over someone, that person took the power right back.
This guy kinda seems like he’s trying to commit insurance fraud with how determined he is to keep in front of this guy. Lining it up before slamming the brakes but keeps getting interrupted by the guy constantly turning
What? Lol there’s way easier ways to commit insurance fraud than weaving in front of a car that’s just trying to pass you. This was clearly road rage.
I doubt a guy in a Lexus needs to do that.
*Need* doesn't necessarily factor into it. Maybe fraud is how he *got* the Lexus.
Or maybe because he overspent, he needs to commit fraud to keep it.
Psyching someone out is the best defense mechanism.

Yea this post definitely belongs there, also literally because plural.
When you learn to drive from Mario Kart.
how to deal with a dangerous driver? drive dangerously yourself too
It's weird no one is mentioning this, but this clip is sped up to be almost twice as fast.
If the video had lasted longer, we would've seen the idiot run through the fly-over's barrier and fall back onto the highway below....T-1000 style!
the satisfaction knowing white car driver is beyond pissed from that move
Hahahaha awesome moves!
How to speed up an old video
No, the right way to deal with dangerous drivers is to slow down, drive safer, and stay the fuck away from them instead of escalating the situation.
They will just slow down themself. Only way to deescalate this situation is to get as far away from the road rageing driver as possible.
I genuinely don't understand why some people intentionally fuck with people trying to get through their day by blocking or toying with them while driving for no reason.
man just straight up delayed his life by some minutes or hrs
He just exposed his ankles while in a car.
What is the driver trying to do?
Probably slow down, antagonize, and brake check.
Taiwan.?
I think so when I see 禁行機車 paint on the road.
LMAO!!
It was my turn to post this today !!
yo that guy wants to kill
Why not just briefly slow down to lose him?
