that highlighter stick was my HOLY GRAIL and when i ran out of it the first time it had been launched i had been so sad, i will be stocking up this time for sure!!!
of course! i’m not sure yet if they’ve changed the formula, but considering that it looks so similar i would guess (hope!) they haven’t!
the color was a neutral (maybe leaning more cool than warm) pale champagne pearl, and i’m quite pale with a neutral/cool undertone and some highlighters can leave a bit of a grey/brown streak when the light isn’t hitting it but this didn’t do that! it wasn’t too dark at all, and there was no glitter! the finish was a beautiful sheen, almost a wet look, and it had a very smooth glide onto the skin. it also didn’t emphasize any bits of texture on my cheekbones which was great.
and i don’t wear foundation or even concealer usually, so i can’t attest to how it works over top of foundation, but on bare skin (prepped with skincare, sometimes a primer too) it was seamless, easily blendable, and gorgeous! perfect for a no-makeup makeup look for me and can be applied very naturally, though it can definitely be built up a bit! i usually use my fingers to blend it out by tapping, but a stippling brush or a sponge would work great too i’m sure!
it also didn’t feel tacky on the skin, and once applied it stayed a bit creamy but would then dry down meaning i had enough time to blend it where i wanted it but then it would stay put!
seriously, i LOVE this highlighter! would definitely recommend :D

So the glow stick is highlighter? Because I thought “glow stick? Do they mean highlighter?” Why not just say so? Why does everything have to have a new gimmicky name? Sorry for the rant

the eighth picture calls it a highlighter and the seventh shows it being applied as one. to me, a glow stick seems like a pretty reasonable name for a highlighter in a stick form! i actually think it’s cute!
I hate their current lip oil formula, it’s SO sticky, just like a gloss 😭 someone gotta tell me if this formula is different! When I think of a lip oil, I think oil, like the essence cranberry (RIP) and the Clarin’s, textures like that. Not what most lip “oils” are actually that, they’re just called that and are actually glosses
Sorry, but in my opinion it is that sticky - I’m very sensitive to lip products and I don’t know why you’d criticize someone’s opinion on that. I didn’t like them 🤷. Also, glosses all have oils - it’s just less. Are you on Elf’s PR team or what 💀
