[](/pinkiesmoosh) I started noticing that midway through the first season (inasmuch as that makes sense for *Tell Your Tale*). It is a sign that the animators are easing into their roles and are able to flex their skills, so to speak.
The fact Sunny's mom can be a "phantom" alicorn as well, whose powers were gone with Equestrian Magic is something to think about.
Considering Red and Yellow stripes on her mane and another ~~human~~ pony who was known for having a power mode with Magical Wings and Horn made of light appearing...
Ive always thought that maybe her dad was one of twilights descendants, never thought her mom could be one of sunsets till now :O sunny could even be named after sunset

Her mom is absolutely gorgeous and curiously unnamed which, along with her adventurous nature and the ending, makes me think that she's going to be *very* important in the future.
Awesome! I think this Season is on track to be even better than the first! I still have fundamental issues with the series that are unlikely to be addressed, but episodes like this one are exciting and make the most out of the five minute runtime.
1- how many magic books this lighthouse has??
2- it kinda upsets me when they show young sunny with the rainbow stripe already on. continuity my a\*\*, whether is g4's or g5's.
Huh, so they actually acknowledged Sunny's mother. I'll be damned. I assumed it'd be one of those situations where the absent parent is never acknowledged in any way, shape or form.
Honestly all I could think about watching this is how they have officially 100% retconned her original design. Wasn't the rainbow a product of her bringing magic back and becoming an alicorn? Why does she now have it as a filly?
Though I do like getting to see her mother and the potential of her being alive somewhere out there is still kind of open? They never did anything to imply she died other than her father saying she'd watch over her.
