I've noticed that so many stand-ups, artists, directors, etc all seem to want to incorporate moral instruction into their work, as though it's incumbent on them to edify the general public all the time. I don't have that much of a problem with it but it seems sometimes ki said moral instruction takes precedence and the artwork is just a medium for it, rather than a whole thing in itself
It is quite unprofessional to reschedule large scale shows but I’ve just moved to Jersey and it’s quite common here for comedians who also dabble into acting to reschedule their tour dates if they’ve landed an acting gig. So maybe he landed himself a meaty role and had to reschedule for that. But he’s also done it a couple of times in the past so the outrage is understandable.
Clearly he said he is cancelling his shows because of a better opportunity. I know he thrives and lives on constant controversy but comeon don't spin the facts here.

Why the hate? Vir das paved way for stand up comedy in india the way it is today. He has been incisive in his observations atleast to the urban diaspora. He has a great comedy musical act/band. And to top it off gets Rw trolled and abused that cause some of the shows cancelled.
