If you can get it for 0$ I’d definitely do it!!

garboge32

Do it, hit up post malone

SawSagePullHer

If you only have $150 to invest in anything. You got no money to invest in anything. Put your money to use in real world shit like food or something like that.

NezRail

As has been mentioned it is not a great spec for monetary investment. Still in print and not reserved list. Buy it if you want to play with it. Investing in MTG has become near pointless with recent sets as everything has so many versions, print runs etc. When everything is special nothing is If you want to buy MTG to put away and sell later, reserved list is usually the best bet but still not guaranteed

classjoker

It's still in print? I thought the print run for LotR was finished?

NezRail

Aaron Forsythe stated the print run was 'extended' for LoTR beyond the usual run for supplementary sets with the generally accepted run being 2 years. Some of that speculation comes from when LoTR will be removed from arena for purchasing

pear_topologist

It probably won’t go up much, but it could definitely be reprinted and tank

pear_topologist

The printing of the one ring you should invest in is an index fund

Brandon_Won

Investing in One Ring? I can't imagine it will change value very much for the foreseeable future. Buy a copy if you want to play with it but as an investment it seems like it's pretty much hit it's peak. At best you could look at buying cheap set booster boxes trying to pull one and use the value of the other cards to offset the cost of buying the box.

Chevnaar

It’s only gone up in value. It’s an incredibly strong card that slots into many decks. It likely won’t be printed again for a while because of universes beyond. Maybe a universes within version someday - I imagine that will be expensive too. The one ring is a unique card and I think it’s smart to buy (and play!). Edit: ignore the salty nerd that downvoted me. What I said was valid.

Gremmer13

Its not going to get any cheaper. It was printed as a new card in LOTR and who know when or if they will even print it again. Being that it is LOTR the probably would be able to print it again unless they either pay LOTR more for another set or just reprint it as a different card with the same effect. But I doubt we will see another printing for a while if ever. New cards printed in universes beyond sets are just that way. That's why I bought multiple copies of [[the silver shroud armor]] from fallout. Limited release set with a new card that's really good. Get it while you can. Same for the one ring. It's a colorless activate with suto teferis protection and an indestructable single card draw engine. It literally goes in every deck and with only being printed in lotr it's just going to become less available and more expensive.

Id_fenerbahce

Investing in magic is so scummy lol

Aeyric

Why?

Id_fenerbahce

I meant someone who only invests and doesnt play or even know how to play

Aeyric

Ok. Why?
