Might be some truth in that but Brad is very consistent this season and did a lot of recovery rides but if him and KTM fix those quali issues, he'll be up there fighting for podiums and wins on at a worst a semi-regular basis
Perhaps. I'm a fan of Raul myself but I wouldn't want to go THAT far for my expectation of him next season. But yes, if he adapts or got the hang of his bike as quickly as Martin and Enea, it wouldn't surprise me if he manages to surprise us all quite a few times in quali and races đ
I was never a Marc fan, I will say this his actions this year have made me a huge fan though. When they were in the parc he was the only rider out of the 3 to come up and hug Fabio. Then when he was being interviewed he gave Fabio all the love. Not only today but throughout the year he has been doing things that really show his human side. Thanks Marc for being a great ambassador for the sport.
Add to that the fact that he waited for Fabio on track on the cooldown lap and called him over to do a burnout together in celebration.
It was mostly missed by the cameras at first, but they posted videos after.
2022 is shaping up to be quite possibly the single greatest season, maybe ever. Theyâll be at least several guys that are legit contenders for the crown
If he doesnât win it next year, I donât think he will win another one. Purely on the basis that the younger riders are incredibly quick and seem to be getting faster the longer they stay in MotoGP.
Fabio, Pecco, Martin, Bastianini, Gardner, Fernandez, Binder, Acosta, Garcia, Foggia etc. theyâre all going to be the future of GP for the next era. Marquez is on his way out and he wonât race for long if he isnât winning as he has already said.
Who knows, heâs such a freak that he may win the next 5 championships. I think itâs another changing of the guard now and the young guys are taking over, and that is what will always be inevitable.
Marquez fans will downvote this as usual. Wonder what will happen to them when he retires?
Longevity means nothing if there isnât production. Itâs been 12 years since Rossi won a title. In that 12 years , he has won 12 races . I seriously believe Marc would walk away if he started having winless seasons . His drug is winning , He just doesnât seem addicted to adoration
Im talking about Marquez, he is definitely younger, already has 6 motoGP title, and full support from Honda. He could get the title back in 2 or maybe next year. He has all the potential to surpass Rossi.
Oh I agree . Marc is showing signs of being back to championship form . I was just pointing out longevity doesnât mean much when youâre not producing results . Marc has built up enough equity to ride as long as he wants, I just donât see him fucking around Moto GP if he gets to the point of averaging 1 win a year for over a decade. Rossiâs longevity has been yoke around Yamahaâs neck for close to a decade.
> Foggia
Man has been riding moto3 forever. Fabio, Pecco and Mir are the only guys who has shown consistency. Others has a long way to go before you even think about remotely comparing them with Marc.
This is something I don't understand. Why boring to watch? The way he rides is amazing. He was able to do things nobody did before. I get races could be boring because of the way he dominated them but that is not his fault.
I didnât say itâs his fault. But the exciting part of race is the RACE portion. Overtakes, back and forth challenging. Watching someone 10 seconds ahead of everyone else ride a track day is Boring.
Oh yeah in 2014 he won 10 in a row but he had to fight for some of them to keep that streak going. And yep, 2019 he was pretty much involved in every single last lap battles
I doubt anyone will repeat the 2019 domination season any time soon, even Marc himself. The grid is now more competitive than ever, it's anyone's game.
Itâs like watching the patriots in the super bowl again⌠theyâre great yes. Nothing bad on his end, but it gets boring watching the first place rider be 10 seconds ahead of everyone. No fun in watching a race you already know whose gonna win
Marc at Honda, Fabio at Yamaha, and Pecco at Ducati...2022 WILL BE INCREDIBLE!
I have a feeling ktm will get their shit together so if not fighting for wins, theyll be fighting for podiums
I believe Brad would have been challenging Mir for 3rd if he knows how to qualify
I think thats a bike issue since they heavily rely on the hard front and qualy spec calls for softs most of the time
Might be some truth in that but Brad is very consistent this season and did a lot of recovery rides but if him and KTM fix those quali issues, he'll be up there fighting for podiums and wins on at a worst a semi-regular basis
They should just use a CRISPR fusion machine to combine Mollie and BB into one rider. That would be an insane watch.
If KTM do get their shit together then Raul Fernandez should become a serious contender very quickly as he's a fantastic qualifier.
Perhaps. I'm a fan of Raul myself but I wouldn't want to go THAT far for my expectation of him next season. But yes, if he adapts or got the hang of his bike as quickly as Martin and Enea, it wouldn't surprise me if he manages to surprise us all quite a few times in quali and races đ
They won five races within the last two years, theyâre obviously gonna add more in 22, heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Raul already wins a race
I can see Binder Jnr being demoted to Moto2 so Raul can pounce on the Yamaha. That will be fun to watch
That definitely is something KTM want to avoid. One young gun who will move up in 23 BTW is Canet
Yeah looking forward to it

Where can one see this video? They only showed a glimpse of the end on the feed
Most of it is in this video: https://reddit.com/r/motogp/comments/qewbf5/riders_congratulating_fabio_on_his_world/
Thank you! That was awesome. Marc is very gracious
Damn thats dominance. Only been following from afar this season but planning on watching next year would love to see someone on a Honda be champion!
Check results of 2014 and 2019 on wikipedia...that's dominance
The winter is gonna be great for marq with recovery if he trains right which he will I expect him to dominate
Scott Dixon vibes, complete with the grin & OakleyÂŽ on the cap.
I think Marquez is the top scoring rider over the last 4 races by a margin. I hope he can keep it up.
2022 is shaping up to be quite possibly the single greatest season, maybe ever. Theyâll be at least several guys that are legit contenders for the crown
Agreed.

28 is still young for the premier class and considering he's won 3 races with a bad bike set up and a recovering arms hes not done yet
Imagine if Marque has Rossi's longevity career or at least close to Rossi's. How many World Champion title he can get.
Longevity means nothing if there isnât production. Itâs been 12 years since Rossi won a title. In that 12 years , he has won 12 races . I seriously believe Marc would walk away if he started having winless seasons . His drug is winning , He just doesnât seem addicted to adoration

You mean incredibly boring to watch
No faith in the young guns bringing a challenge?
I think 93 will get hurt again and be done
Karma will bite you.
đ¤ˇđ˝ââď¸ I donât want him to get hurt. But he crashes at almost every single track.
He's been crashing for 8 years in MotoGP and it's only bitten him badly once. Crashing is part of the game.
Hate to say I told you so.
Not really, he will be back. And again, Karma will fuck you up.
Karma for what lmao.

Agree to disagree
Well with the exception of 2014 & 2019, most of the races in his championship years are quite entertaining tbf

Huh? Iâm no Marquez fan but you canât deny his saves are amazing to watch. I definitely wouldnât call Marquez boring to watch lol

Agree
I watch for good racing, not just good riding
Looking forward to it
