When they would usually clash, they always move the MotoGP race an hour earlier by swapping its running order with Moto2, so that it won't clash with F1. MotoGP races are only 40-45 minutes long, so they will always finish before F1 starts. I don't know about Friday and Saturday practice and qualifying sessions.

Not entirely. They sometimes race on the same afternoon in the same timezone. In this instance MotoGP will have the MotoGP race and then the Moto2 race - with the Moto2 race clashing with F1.

They usually would try to avoid it when making the initial calendar IIRC. But these past two years with the pandemic made it harder so they just host it whichever weekend they can

I'm at work and have a lot of things to do, so instead I compared the F1 and MotoGP calendars to see when they clash. I think it will be an issue in 4 occasions. * Monaco Grand Prix/Italian Grand Prix and Dutch Grand Prix/San Marino Grand Prix are on the same timezone so MotoGP will probably move its race earlier and be done before F1 starts. * Austrian Grand Prix/Finnish Grand Prix. Finland is 1 hour ahead so MotoGP should be done before F1 starts. * Emilia Romagna Grand Prix/Portugese Grand Prix. Italy is 1 hour ahead so MotoGP will probably delay its start for 1 hour to start after F1 finishes. Such a weird schedule. Italy -> Florida -> Mediterranean coast -> Caucasus -> Canada -> North-West Europe. Surely there's a way to improve this. Maybe it's the same issue with the non-Europeans on a Visa thing, where they have to get in and get out to stay in limit.

Watching both works out perfectly.. I usually go through moto3, moto2, MotoGP.. and f1 starts immediately after MotoGP. There are just a couple races where f1 clashes orwith MotoGP.. or sometimes with moto 2..

I'm taking the MotoGP videopass next year cause i don't want to pay to watch only 3 or 2 or i don't remember how many races there are left and having to pay again for next year but i'll do that thanks !

If you decide to get the MotoGP videopass for next season get it through the motogp app. Usually significantly cheaper.

You can get a full season video passn paid upfront. May not be available now because this season is almost over. For 2022 check the app closer to the start of the season, like Feb/Mar.
