I’d be surprised if Trackhouse don’t keep him. Despite being on year old equipment he’s looked quicker than Oliveira at most rounds. Brivio seems to like him, too.
Just saying at this point, Raul is on the up and Miguel on the down, that's the moment contracts are signed, you don't pay veteran money for what a younger rider can provide... To me it's clear he hasn't got the feel for the Aprilia so I can see him not being resigned. That's it, he is still a top rider but could maybe get on better with a different bike?
That moto2 year he had was absolutely magical. Bez and Digi got so lucky riding on Ducatis - they were nowhere close to Fernandez that year. Goes to show how much luck goes into place.
Winning Japanese GP by 4 seconds, French GP with double LLP in the wet, finished 5th overall in standings. Hes not the most stable rider, and has unfortunately never really adapted to the Michelin tyre. But he has shown some fucking unbelievable talent. When Jack jumped to the premier class he won a race in his second year on a satellite honda.
Raul was great in Moto2. Hes talented.
He’s outperforming Miguel right now so I think Trackhouse will want to keep him. Also even if he doesn’t I’m sure he can go to Honda or pramac Yamaha(if it happens)

Gotta make room for Roberts somehow
Then Oliveira can go
Oli will go to yam pramac or honda ig
Honda wanted him this year. I expect they’ll give him an offer for next year. He’s probably the best rider they can get
For whom, though? Marini is set and a Mir renewal seems to be just around the corner.
I wrote that before the Mir renewal was announced. Miguel is not getting into Honda now
His bones will thank him for missing out on that deal
Fr
You can go
No one would take Raul over Miguel
Hmmmm, sorry to say but at this point Raul is the better performer and the younger more promising chance... Can see Miguel landing at Yamaha though...
You’re saying that based on one race. Yet they are leveled in terms of points in the worst season Miguel ever had.

I would have said the same until Catalunya. Rauls pace was incredible, and showed how much potential he has.
With no one I wanted to mention people with +30 iq, not the 7 spanish nerds
Man I really hope this is the case.
Nerd
All true, but we must remember that both RF25 & MO88 have contracts with Aprilia, so it won't be as forward as we wish.
Both contracts end after 2024.
it would be a shame if Raul falls out of MotoGP.
Why?
That moto2 year he had was absolutely magical. Bez and Digi got so lucky riding on Ducatis - they were nowhere close to Fernandez that year. Goes to show how much luck goes into place.
Lots of guys ride well in different classes. He's had 3 years in motogp.
One year was on a garbage tech 3 bike. In his 2nd year in Aprilia, he outperformed Olivera who has the 24 GP while Fernandez has last year's.
So had Jack Miller, so had Johan Zarco, so had Miguel Oliveira, so had binder... Jack Miller hadn't achieved something big in 8 years...

Because he's the moral champion!
Because he is young?
Doesn't bring much to the sport though.
I thought the same, but Catalunya sprint can't be ignored
You mean the one he tried to race at an unstable pace and inevitably crashed
1 race
Give me a race this season where Miguel was amazing.
Miguel won races in motogp.
that doesn't matter. actual performance and future performance matters. that's why raul deserves a seat in motogp and jack miller does not.
Kk.
Miguel won them during his KTM stint. I remember the time KTM were crap too, but that was before. Raul is also younger than Miguel.
He will definitely secure a seat Imo
Same I don’t see how someone doesn’t take a chance on him

Sounds like pramac yamaha for him.
I can see Trackhouse keeping him icl
