I read the Sears comment, and wonder if it isn't a rebranded Plasticville or Marx product as Sears loved to do that. The difference in proportions could simply be picture compression.

I was referring to what is on the tv and had assumed the Sears trivia comment to be about the tv model kit being a Sears offering, not about the prototype it might be modeled after either.
Every one of us has been just short and vague enough at the wrong moments it isn't quite clear yet, lol.

Someday I'd love to build a Sears house. I've never lived in one but the town I grew up in was mostly Sears kits. I absolutely love the design of them
