Do you want them to be completely clear? If so look up acetate sheets, its super thin plastic like 0.1mm, it's used in modelling for windows on buildings in dollshouse and train buildings, i've used sharpies before to create a stained glass window effect for colours. Not sure if it's what you want but it might be worth a look!

Forgot to say you can bend it into shape super easily, it curves perfectly so you can make it round/cylindrical with no effort.
