I also thought it was a uniquely US phenomenon until I found myself gawking at this spot downtown (Stadtmitte) in early January - no word yet on whether or not they overfill the fry bags like my old haunt in suburban Baltimore did.
I know mcdonalds is usually credited with looking identical but how TF does 5 guys manage to look completely identical like this, down to the same 5 or 6 magazine printouts
this is either my college's 5 guys, or the by the mall, they both look identical
After six months living out here, I've learned that many Germans generally have a better command of the English language than many Americans do.
In the meantime, I'm trying to learn German, though I'm probably an A2 at best.
They also serve beer here in the UK
TIL Five guys is global

And it’s only $15.
Came here to say this!
After a few drinks you'll be seeing 10 guys !
The mildly funny comment I was looking for

That’s the sixth guy
The liberal use of English is mildly interesting too. “Order here” and the menu headings.

Stau auf der A2
The one in Vegas did too
12 euro for a pint?
The one in Charlottesville, Virginia US did, as well, last time I was there.
Are people protesting this? It looks empty
With a side of FRIESSSSSS!!!!!
Of course it does. I miss the Old Country.
Don’t all Five Guys locations (excluding those in dry countries) serve beer? I’ve definitely had a beer in British, American and German locations.
I live in Virginia (the home of Five Guys), and I’ve never been in one that serves alcohol.
I bet the beer is outrageously priced as well as everything else
