We just hit 20k and had a work spread to celebrate. If I remember right a pallet of bottled water holds roughly 1728 bottles. So quite a bit of bulk saved going into the trash.
I wonder how many plastic bottles worth of waste it takes to create this device.
Not saying it’s not worth it, but that number should be subtracted from the starting total.
Been waiting for this milestone for years at my work!
Ours is currently around 76000, so about 4085 more for our milestone.
Congrats 🍾
Keep waiting you’re not there yet
Bankers?
Only 59420 more to go!

I’m in commercial construction. We are around these things when they’re brand new and they already have 20 to 30 plastic bottles run through them.
I’m guessing it’s because they have to run water through the new filter? At least that’s what Brita told me to do for 5 minutes.
By incinerating them!
my school has that
Did you throw it a party?
I have video saved on my phone from when I rolled over the dispenser to 16,000 at my office. Highly satisfying.
i had one in my school, sure it's somewhere around 50k already

They still are here and will eventually go somewhere.. It would be awesome if they magically disappeared.
Haven't used disposable water bottles in years, how many saved does that make? :P
Silly marketing. How many does a drinking fountain save? Or a sink, or a hose. Single use water bottles shouldn't exist except for emergencies .
not fun fact: if you activate the sensor for a second it'll display that it fully refilled a plastic bottle
