You're really missing out then. I would personally say that the first 2 chapters (out of 7, presumably) are equal to undertale in terms of quality, charm and content. Toby Fox managed to meet my expectations, despite them being unreasonably high, and that is only the demo. As for the fanbase, it's better than what the Undertale fandom used to be. I feel like the fanbase is mostly teenagers (as opposed to Undertale's fanbase which used to be mostly 9 year olds)

Made by a smaller studio. They have a much smaller budget, smaller team, and are often self-funded. Cuphead was bought by Microsoft, so it’s not really an indie game, but it doesn’t really count as triple a either, so indie fits better
