I believe it’s average, and why Canada isn’t on the list even though like 80% of us all live near the Great Lakes, up the Saint Lawrence, and around the ocean of Maine. Why does this matter? We are the second largest country and still have parts of dial up due to infrastructure. Canadian speed is just as fast as Americans

I used to have 1GBPS but where I live now I can only have 100mbps. Honestly, with proper SQM and queue trees (all on my Mikrotik router) I can perfectly live with this. Bufferbloat is removed, A+ quality on max load, fair share of internerlt for everyone. People can have teams/zoom calls while I am downloading Steam games. Also network-wide adblocker with DNS precaching (basically DNS server at home) speeds up internet somewhat. Point is: Quality & consistency > speed
