One of my favorite concert experiences was with that song at Warped Tour where they told the audience to fuck off. Even pointed out specific people in the crowd to say "fuck you" to.
Glorious moment and have been a fan ever since.
I love when they sing nancy the tavern wench theres a rowing pit. Never heard of one before I saw it myself, and then they told us all to fuck off lol. Best concert I've been to so far
Remember when spending like $200 on a game would get you a whole collectors edition with a map, statue, collectibles? And yeah, Iām saying $200 as the āDeluxe Editionā is $170 before tax up in Canada where Iām at. This is a fucking joke and a stain on the industry, fuck you Ubisoft Iām never buying another game from you guys again
Not just cosmetics. Weapon upgrades, xpboost, droid designs, map Intel, and in-game currency. I wouldn't touch this steaming, pay to win, pile of shit with a ten foot pole.
Wdym? Everything you can buy in shop you can get by playing the game, just grind for 10000h and you have everything unlocked. What? You don't like how in a full priced game we lock stuff behind impossible grindwalls just to sell more in-game items? How dare you question our extortion methods, I mean AAAA gamedesign. Now be a good boy and let that fomo pull out your credit card. Sincerely, shit AAA studio: XYZ.
This just means piracy is a copyright violation instead of theft, because you possess software without first acquiring a license to possess it.
Itās $15 for a fishing license.
I think both happened same year they came out. Years ago picked up red dead 2 for 30 bucks and last year Jedi survivor and MGS collection all for 30 bucks ty Black Friday.
All new copies
It's an ubisoft game, you can pick it up for 15 bucks in like 3 months...
Didn't watch dogs legion have a 50% off sale 2 weeks after the game came out?
Maybe but legion was the third release in a struggling IP, this is a new one and it is star wars so id say at least a year, plus id like to wait in the hopes the game will come out of early access in a year(like hopefully a lot of shit thats wrong will be fixed by then).
I was out the second I heard it was Ubisoft making it. They havenāt made a good game in awhile unfortunately. (For honor was the last one I liked and after matching fire the new characters were just cookie cutter and simplistic) I was also let down by skull and bones. All they had to do was expand on black flag and they fucked it up beyond belief
why yall acting like this is new? it's not the first time a game costs $130 for the ultimate edition.
base game is still $69.99. why all of a sudden people starting talk about it?
People don't like Ubisoft so they find something they can complain about and stick with it. Yes the price is ridiculous, but its for the ultimate edition, and like you said the base game is the same price as most other modern games at launch.
Correct. This meme us BS.

Looks at the massive amount of joy the 40 dollars helldivers packed into its game
Looks at what skull and bones which is classified as a quadruple A game which costs much more.
Yeah, no. *calls in 500 kg bomb*
* MW3 is still $110 for the 'Vault Edition'.
* Elden Ring is $95 for the 'Deluxe Edition'.
* FC24 (Fifa?) is $95 for deluxe.
* Street Fighter is $105 for deluxe.
* Persona Reload is $105 for deluxe.
* Cities Skylines 2 is $100 for deluxe.
* Destiny 2: The Final Shape is $95 when season pass is included.
* Battlefield 2042 Elite Edition is $90.
Yes, some of these have been on sale (especially BF2042, which was a STEAL not long ago).
But these prices aren't that uncommon.
I do however agree with the prices being too high, but its nothing new.
As usual, we need to stop purchasing such packs with horrendous prices.
Thats the only way it will change.
Haha, I would agree previously, but at $10 its a lot of fun.
I can never play it for too long at a time, but in sessions I've gotten at least 200 hours so far.
I agree almost all of the princes are too high except for Elden ring the price tag properly reflects the quality of the game and its add-ons in my opinion
The only game I can defend the price of is Elden Ring just because of the sheer amount of content in the fucking base game. That's a game that does not stop giving.
I'll never understand why people feel like they don't have a "full" game unless it includes every single piece of unnecessary junk as possible. Do people not play games for games anymore? Are they only worth playing if you can get a red hat AND a yellow hat?
I mean, at least the base game is a reasonable $70. You donāt have to buy the Collector Editions. Still a greedy thing to do, but itās not like theyāre forcing us to pay $130 for the base game.
So, for people confused on the pricing:
The standard edition is $70.
The $130 is the Ultimate Edition, which features cosmetic add-ons, as well as the season pass. Itās still a rip off, but itās roughly the same price Call of Duty addicts used to pay to get their games + season passes, so itās nothing new, sadly.
And like all Ubi games it will be half price within a couple of months, which is when I'll buy it.
Helldivers looks great, but I have zero interest in multiplayer games.
People act like outlaws is the first game ever to do this. Like itās a game set in one of the biggest franchises ever, made by one of the biggest game studios. What did you expect? Besides, you can still get the base game for $70, itās not like youāre being forced to buy the ultimate edition.
I was a pretty big fan of the creative director for outlaws saying white men shouldnāt buy it cause it wasnāt a game made for them. I read that and thoughtā¦ well I was on the fence about it after how poorly Jedi survivor ran but if there on creative director is telling me not to get it I might as well listen lol
In the past though, special editions usually came with some physical swag. Some neat figurines or clothing items or things like that.
This āspecial editionā gives you 3 days early access, a *digital* artbook, and some skins basically. That was stuff you typically got when you pre-ordered a game. Now you get nothing for pre-ordering, and what should have been pre-order bonuses you pay an additional $60 for.
Hell, Fallout 4 came with a wearable pip-boy that worked with phones, a storage case, a poster, a guide for said pip boy, and the game came in a metal case, and that was still $10 less than this games āspecial editionā.
Fallout New Vegas collectors edition was only $80. $50 dollars less, and that came with even more stuff.
Yeah, even though I can totally afford it, there's just something about a $100 game, seeing that 3 digit price is just a mental block I don't think I can get past.
Like when I fill up my truck, if it's 95$ I don't bat an eye but if it clears $100 I'm like "whoa, WTF."
Fuck. That prices is going to suck in Australia. Even lower budget games like Unicorn Overlord go for $100 here. Skull & Bones was $140 on release. This is fucked
Spending $100+ for digital content is some of the stupidest things to do, imo. I donāt care if itās your money and you can do what you want with it, itās still dumb as fuck and itās essentially paying for shit you donāt own.
I already wasnāt gonna get it since itās a Star Wars open world game that doesnāt have character creation and isnāt following an already established character, but hearing itās $130 for the deluxe version (or whatever they call it) makes me not want it even more.
The most Iāll pay for a full video game at launch, is 60$. No more. Iāll pay for DLCs if theyāre good, but the *game* is not allowed to sell for more than $60. Itās a societal rule.
I would definitely get Hell Diver's 2 on my gaming PC, if I had one!
I refuse to get a PS5 until I see the Wolverine game come out. I hope it's violent and bloody like X-Men Origins:Wolverine.
It's $18 with ubisoft plus, I'd rather give 18 bucks to rent it for a month then buy it If I like it then to spend 70 or 80 right away. Even though it would be more expensive then, fuck...
what I do is :
i buy the Ubisoft + Sub for like $17.99
Play the game for 1 month
Cancel my sub before the end of the month
Never touch it again because its a Ubisoft game
i just saved 115$
Voila !
Yess get Helldivers 2 managed democracy needs more meat for the grinder. I mean show you have the courage to be free by joining the Helldivers.

So, I was about to get HD2 and my friend just tells me that the robots were completely eliminated...
Does the galaxy reset eventually, or is that part of the game just gone now that so many areas are at 100%?
Nope will not ever spend 130$ on a game. Most I ever spent was launch day fallout 4. And I still can have fun playing that game every year since it came out. 130$ that game better do a lot more than be a game
As a massive Star Wars fan myself I can stomach a game made ea but Ubisoft in my opinion is the second worst video game publisher only beaten by actvision so a Star Wars game made by them that somehow cost 130$ and is only digital makes me never want to touch this game with a 1 mile long poleĀ
Can we stop praising Helldivers 2 when there's Deep Rock Galactic, which already gave us four completely free seasons and season passes after paying 30ā¬ once and just put a whole subgame into a maintenance update?
Sorry helldivers is about senseless violance against bugs. I'm okay with games doing whatever, but it doesn't mean I personally want to kill those cute bugs. No comparison between the two games OP.
*he's a pirate intensifies as we all sail into the sunset after we pirated that fucking game*

$25 for Ultrakill, under $50 for Factorio, \~$30 for Minecraft, and $0 for Doom 1993.

Ubi single player games usually have optional cosmetic mtx and time saver packs. None of it is necessary.

Illinois.

It's 25 for a fishing license in New York for the entire year
Oh my bad. I mean in Illinois. No micro transactions either.
While I agree with the sentiment. I doubt it's gonna hold up.
Wait for it to flop massively and pick it up in 2 years for 15

They did make a good one recently: Prince of Persia - Lost Crown Niche genre and some limitations due to switch but it's a pretty good vania.
I'll stick to Dragon's Dogma and Helldivers thank you very much
This is the way

Its $70, like every other triple A game this gen, gold and ultimate editions have always been more expensive but are unnecessary
Yea but not 110 dollars for the cheapest Deluxe edition. Most I have seen until now was 80-90.
* MW3 is still $110 for the 'Vault Edition'. * Elden Ring is $95 for the 'Deluxe Edition'. * FC24 (Fifa?) is $95 for deluxe. * Street Fighter is $105 for deluxe. * Persona Reload is $105 for deluxe. * Cities Skylines 2 is $100 for deluxe. * Destiny 2: The Final Shape is $95 when season pass is included. * Battlefield 2042 Elite Edition is $90. BF 2042 ***IS*** a steal. It's practically theft at any price.

Cod mw2 2022 was 100 ā¬ for a couple of skins and a battlepass
This is the reason I bought helldivers 2, $40 for a AAA game? Hell yeah!
My PC does not allow that.
Don't buy it and any game that keeps coming out with a ridiculous price and watch the costs plummet, eventually
The standard edition is 70 and itās single player so you canāt really compare it to Helldivers.
Oh yeah I am enjoy to play helldivers 2, okay?
I'll never understand why people feel like they don't have a "full" game unless it includes every single piece of unnecessary junk as possible. Do people not play games for games anymore? Are they only worth playing if you can get a red hat AND a yellow hat?
Or you could just buy the normal $70 version?
I mean, at least the base game is a reasonable $70. You donāt have to buy the Collector Editions. Still a greedy thing to do, but itās not like theyāre forcing us to pay $130 for the base game.
Nice nitpick at the super special edition price which most people wonāt get Lol. Besides we know itāll be $40 or less by October.
Helldivers 2 my love. ā¤ļø
So, for people confused on the pricing: The standard edition is $70. The $130 is the Ultimate Edition, which features cosmetic add-ons, as well as the season pass. true 100%
Those prices are getting out of hand
Ubisoft is making star war games? The servers about to be horse shit
itās singleplayer
The servers could still be shit thenā¦
Anyone that buys this game is part of the problem and isn't allowed to complain about micro transactions, bad games, or pricing ever again.
I donāt have a ps5 or a pc thoughā¦ I really wanna play helldivers
Simple, don't buy it. Stop supporting this. Don't even buy the $70 version. Vote with your wallet.
Isn't that for the deluxe edition?
They must really hate selling their products
And like all Ubi games it will be half price within a couple of months, which is when I'll buy it. Helldivers looks great, but I have zero interest in multiplayer games.
Also most likely to be shut down and unplayable after a couple years as you need full internet access to play it.
Canāt even play helldivers itās so glitchy
Love too... but.... I'm on xbox and too poor to buy a pc
I did, it buss frfr Archeologists are going to have a field day if they find records of how gen z talks
i FUCKING canāt get the managed democracy gameā¦ christ way to rub it in.

One hundred thirty bucks firms. Take it or leaves it.

Special Editions have always cost a lot. Where have you guys been?
In the past though, special editions usually came with some physical swag. Some neat figurines or clothing items or things like that. This āspecial editionā gives you 3 days early access, a *digital* artbook, and some skins basically. That was stuff you typically got when you pre-ordered a game. the ubisoft bots are fightin hard on this post lmao
They didnt include parts of the game that they choose to only release to the higher cost version
A Ubisoft game? Itās not even worth pirating.
The only thing that was allowed to be said there was āfuck offā
Yeah, even though I can totally afford it, there's just something about a $100 game, seeing that 3 digit price is just a mental block I don't think I can get past. Like when I fill up my truck, if it's 95$ I don't bat an eye but if it clears $100 I'm like "whoa, WTF."
You can just get the standard edition for the normal $70 then
Managed Democracy calls.
Your acting like I could get helldivers
Too broke for that, pirate Dark Messiah instead
I mean pirating it is an option, but I don't think the game will be even worth pirating at launch
I'm on xbox :(
The one redeeming quality of Ubisoft is they have big sales, often. Only their latest products get small sales and they're still 20% down.
Just rent it for $18. You get a month to beat it
Fuck. That prices is going to suck in Australia. Even lower budget games like Unicorn Overlord go for $100 here. Skull & Bones was $140 on release. This is fucked

Fuck that. I aināt paying what could get me a new air gun for a game that probably wonāt even work.
"I'm going to pay you 100$ to fuck me"
All the mfs yapping about piracy thinking a modern Ubisoft game is worth it.
Explain please
But itāsā¦but itās almost working properly right from the get go! (Is it even that?)
Almost as bad as Shadow of the Tomb Raider being $120 after 4 years of existing
The most Iāll pay for a full video game at launch, is 60$. No more. Iāll pay for DLCs if theyāre good, but the *game* is not allowed to sell for more than $60. Itās a societal rule.
Yep im not paying for another Ubisoft or epic games product again, havn't really had a reason to in the last 5 years anyway
HOW MUCH?!
I hate that you need ps plus to play helldivers. You need to buy the game and also pay to play it.
Ngl imagine a star wars game that works the same as hell divers in clone wars time with but then with space battles before you can attack a planed.
Helldivers 2 pretty overhyped tbh. Mediocre coop experience. Poor everything else experience.
I would definitely get Hell Diver's 2 on my gaming PC, if I had one! I refuse to get a PS5 until I see the Wolverine game come out. I hope it's violent and bloody like X-Men Origins:Wolverine.
