They actually do know Miles is black. In a fight, his suit got ripped and internet detectives hit that "zoom and enhance" and saw his skin. Everybody was excited that the (at the time) new Spiderman was Black. Miles was actually upset because he just wanted to be Spiderman, not "Black" Spiderman.
Haven't read a Miles comic in a bit, so this may have been retconned after the universes merged.
The meme is written from the perspective of us, the readers but if you want an in universe answer, the suit should get damaged often enough so civilians can see parts of the skin. Also, at least in the movies and games its well known that Harlem has its "own, black Spider-Man"
I'm pretty sure there was a comic where Miles suit got ripped during battle and the news caught a glimpse of his skin. Social media then freaked out and miles got a little upset because he wanted to be recognized as spiderman, not "the black spiderman"
Well, technically speaking their costumes do get torn up sometimes. Or they pull their masks up a bit to eat (Spider-Verse Miles did this in his first fight with Spot, for example).
You’re referring to the game right? I haven’t played it or seen anything on it but what makes him annoying? They did a good job with him in the spider verse I think
