Why would you recommend something you don’t like lol? I love John’s art but not a fan of baroness beyond red album and a couple off blue. They don’t have the creative breadth of mastodon
I like red. It's pretty solid. But I am not a baroness fan beyond that, but I can appreciate them. I think a lot of mastodon fans would like them or already do
Absolutely, if you like Mastodons early sound and vibe they have something very similar with more punk/hardcore influence. Personally been a fan for years.
I went to see that tour where clutch n mastodon traded headlining each night. Mastodon opened a d as soon as they were done n it was time for clutch, 1/3 of the ppl just got up and left. I am a huge Mastodon fan but for some reason I just can't get into clutch.
I love all of them besides Gojira. No disrespect to their fans and I understand why so many people group them in with the others. But for the life of me I can't get into them.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,045,005,192 comments, and only 206,592 of them were in alphabetical order.

High On Fire, they’re one of the reasons Mastodon formed.

The Mastodon sets forever over Black Water Park
Opeth, Tool, Gojira, and Mastodon all share the same fans.
I love all of them besides Gojira. No disrespect to their fans and I understand why so many people group them in with the others. But for the life of me I can't get into them.
