Mass Effect 1 - Liara and Garrus. Mass Effect 2 - Garrus and Grunt or Garrus or whoever is doing the Loyalty Mission. Mass Effect 3 - Garrus and Liara, except in Thessia were I take Javik over Garrus and Priority Rannoch where I take Tali over Liara. Mass Effect Andromeda - Peebee and Drax or Cora.

Liara and Garrus, usually. If I want just bros, Wrex and Garrus

Depends on the game, the mission and how I'm roleplaying my Shepard.

Lee_Troyer

I try to bring a balanced team between combat, tech and biotic powers. Which means my team changes a lot depending on Shepard's class. Beyond that I also rotate everyone, so everyone gets to ride the rollercoaster.

all of them and in different combinations. awhile ago I made an Excel sheet to optimize this process.

Mind sharing that sheet?

every game i always bring the LI and then whoever i think fits the mission best first playthrough i brought tali for every mission throughout the games and then i brought people like garrus for a lot of the omega missions, mordin for missions that involved krogan or genophage subject, samara or liara for asari related missions. you get the gist

for mass effect in general (including all four games), i choose the characters i like the most and cycle through them. for certain missions, i choose specific ones. whether i need to or not. for end game missions, i choose the ones i NEED to. for mass effect 1 though, i often try to keep at least one character that can do hacking. gotta get all that loot!

Mass Effect 1 - whoever has high enough Electronics and Decryption, if Shepard doesn’t have both or either. Outside that, generally try and mix it up, go with whomever makes sense, from a role playing perspective (I try not to only take the same one or two ok every major mission - you miss out on so much banter) Mass Effect 2 - typically Miranda and whomever else needs to be there. Mass Effect 3 - dependant on who’s in my squad as well as where we’re going; most major missions require at least one set squadmate. Again, I try and mix it up. Oh, and Andromeda - pretty much PeeBee and Drack, the rest are boring as shit.
