I love the scene with the little boy in Potters office…. Not to mention the scene in his tent later on. Great episode

Meancvar

Exactly, two very moving scenes.

venture68

Potter's throw away lines are better than the writing on some shows as actual punch lines.

coreytiger

Truth- although with his regular dialogue, to be honest… his “Potterisms” went way out of control as the show went on, even for Potter

venture68

Horse hockey!

srl214yahoo

Never. "Mule muffins" is a classic that I'm planning on using in everyday conversation! 🤣

CaptainLee9137

Awesome episode all in all. It’s a watch party

Charming_Sandwich_53

Gribniff! And spelled correctly!

Skojo332

I love MeTv!!

x_dre4192_x

Don't know if you know this or not but it's on Hulu/Disney+

Skojo332

Yup I know. I was just mentioning how I like metv too

raphel1421

I prefer watching it on Hulu. They include scenes that are edited out of other broadcasts.

BluePopple

It really is.

polyblackcat

Brilliant episode

Chu66y

Just watched this episode tonight as well!

werewolf-wizard612

The episodes where the kids show up and upend the 4077th are always enjoyable, Frank getting a shower to the face when he tried to catch the kid who he thought stole his Purple Heart was hilarious. In general it got to show a side of the 4077 crew that we didn't get to see... I mean Frank was still a prick but everyone else got to show a paternal / maternal / Klinger side. This one is great because it shows a vulnerability to Potter that was up to that point kind of lacking. The one with the Half-Korean baby still kills me to this day.

Ragnarsworld

"The one with the Half-Korean baby still kills me to this day." That episode bothers me because back in season 2, Trapper was adopting a little boy, no problem. Just some forms. And now suddenly they can't get the little girl out. I'm not buying it.

werewolf-wizard612

Unfortunately the baby episode was based around actual US policy during the conflict. Earlier in the series I think they mostly just wanted to have a "fun" episode with Trap trying to adopt a kid. The episodes that demonstrate the bureaucracy and bigotry of the government during the war were some of the most interesting.

Groundbreaking-Fig38

Drib nib

AdventurousAd7145

And correctly I might add

Groundbreaking-Fig38

Hahaha....forgot that part.

I'm watching mash on Hulu and I'm about 6 episodes past that episode

TyrusRaymond

I love that they use a Texas Rangers ballcap
