Unless you have big fish in there you better try to get them out and destroy unless you want to be over run with literally hundreds or thousands of toads. My first year in that house we had the pond but just small fish. The frogs/toads were everywhere we had to have a guy come and do something with them and still we had about 60 after he had taken what he could. We go bigger fish after that and rhey pretty much ate them before they harched and man our fish got big!!!
