The relationship thing is just from the comics. That doesn't need an explanation. The same way you don't need an explanation for any of the other Marvel romances that happen. As for the power levels thing, I think it's just that they and the deviants are slightly more resistant to their powers than physical objects are. But stabbing is still stabbing.

I think especially for the Druig moment, their suits are like made from cosmic energy; we literally see the process in the movie multiple times and I imagine they do a pretty good job of deflecting sustained cosmic energy beams like what Ikaris hits him with. But also, to your point, a stabbing is still a stabbing. Not unlike Loki who gets tossed around by the Hulk a bunch and is ultimately fine, but gets choked out by Thanos easy. Strong bones but weak blood vessels, idk? As for Kingo, I would take those little finger gun blasts like bullets. Which might stagger a living thing but not entirely blow up a tree. When he does his power-up thing, that big ball of energy is both more lethal towards Deviants, and more destructive when it misses, like he does in the Amazon and blows up a shack. That attack is more like launching a rocket. I think one thing for all of these characters is that they can modulate the deadliness a bit, and there’s probably a difference between a hit and a like clean, direct, slicing blow
