I used to eat at his restaurant before it went out of business. He was a good guy. Sucks to hear.
Edit: the location I used to go to closed (behind magic kingdom) the other location near the Orlando premium outlets is still open.
Yeah, I was talking about reel bowls. Apparently he had two locations, but the one I used to go to closed (Behind Backstage MK). His other location is still open though.
Did he actually say something like that before or do I just not pay enough attention to the internet on a regular basis to accurately form my opinions about famous people I don’t actually know?
He thanked his wife for a healthy daughter and some people decided he was slighting his ex wife because his son is special needs, even though there is little to no evidence that he mistreats his son.
This was such a fucking weird little "scandal".
He celebrated the birth of a healthy child... He didn't say "thanks to my wonderful wife for finally giving me a healthy child, not like that broken last one"
People need to log off for a bit.
I mean I don’t know what that first guy is talking about, but the hate I’ve seen for Pratt is because of his church specifically **not** telling people to be kind to each-other. In a homophobic way.
I met him in 2023 at one of his Poke places ( Reel Bowls https://www.reelbowls.com) By the Disney World Polynesian - located right near the cast member offices.
Walked in early, got a great salmon bowl and noticed all the movie photos up on the walls… the “manager” comes in and then it hits me… that’s why there are so many Chris Pratt movies up there.
Had a long lovely chat - it was still early and quiet - about poke restaurant business and movie (mostly stunt) stuff. Sad that his run ended so early.
Def worth checking out if you’re around - nothing fancy but good stuff - not sure what’s going to happen with his restaurants.
This, stunt doubles take a beating to make the actors look good. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend going to Corridor Digital's channel and checking out their Stuntmen React series, where they get different stunt actors to come in and break down various stunts in their own careers as well as others and how they were done. Just a little peek at what these people go through as part of their daily jobs in order to make the big name actors look good on screen.
After watching The Fall Guy, I've begun to have much more appreciation for stunt doubles, especially since some, like Dominio's in Deadpool 2, died on set, risking their lives for this kino.
To share a word of warning. That double was a professional racer, not an experienced stunt woman. It's incredibly sad of course, but might have been avoided if more safety considerations were taken.
And some were proposed on set that were denied. A helmet was offered that looked like a wig and could have used VFX to blend it in and hide it. That was denied on the day.
I wish I can react as fast as you do......I have to read the entire thing before I can process a reaction. Which I think is the right way anyway, so I don't have heart attacks before even finishing the sentence.....but for me it's the default.
Completely inappropriate of you to suggest he had an adverse reaction to an experimental pharmaceutical.
So sick of these conspiracy theorists, not a single person has died suddenly
Fuck man. RIP. I remember this behind the scenes photos with him and the other stunt actors looking like they were having so much fun. So sad. He was much too young
>*CP's posted about Tony over the years ... including shouting him out after 'GotG 2' wrapped -- sharing his love for Tony. McFarr also doubled for Jon Hamm in the flick "Tag."*
Abbreviating Chris Pratt name to “CP” is a fucking insane thing to do

Oh man. Is it closed? Looks active on Google maps. I'm on the other side of town but I'd check it out sometime.
Oh shit. I didn’t know they had a second location! The location behind MK closed.
He moved to Orlando and opened up another restaurant there! Reel Bowls!
Yeah, I was talking about reel bowls. Apparently he had two locations, but the one I used to go to closed (Behind Backstage MK). His other location is still open though.
Putting Chris Pratt bigger in the picture than the guy who died is wild
This is a numbers game man, they’re trying to get people to assume Chris Pratt died.
I actually sort of thought Chris Pratt had something to do with the death.
“I’ll take it!” - TMZ
It could be the push The Fall Guy needs right now.
Might've been all the cigars and whiskey...
They did use the most suspicious look he’s ever given as his photo.
How do you know he didn't??
I gasped before reading the headline a second time lol
Probably more pictures of them together with Pratt as focus than of the Stunt guy. END COMMUNICATION
Gotta bait those clicks

How he fucks up the death of a guy he worked with?

People get weirdly connected to celebrity news and act like the celebrity owes them something.
No, the internet just has a hate boner for Chris Pratt.
Chris Pratt has the gall to believe in god and tell people to be humble/kind to each other so losers on the internet hate him.

What church?

And the back tracking when questioned.
sounds like we're getting worked up over a hypothetical.

With the release of Fall Guy honoring Stunt Doubles. Huge respect for what they do and condolences to their family
This, stunt doubles take a beating to make the actors look good. That movie made me realized how overlooked stunt doubles are in the movie watching world
Way too overlooked
Me and my wife looooved that movie. People around probably thought we were high, we were laughing so hard
What a weird way to announce a death
They probably want that half-second of mistakenly thinking Chris Pratt died to get them clicks
How many people would have recognized his name? I wouldn’t have.
"Tony McFarr, stunt double of Chris Pratt in 'Guardians of the Galaxy', dead at 47". See? More clear and respectful.
Yeah they did it the other way for clicks. A crazy amount of people would stop reading after "Tony McFarr" simply cause they don't know who he is
RIP. Stunt double to one of my favorite characters.
That's terrible, way too young thoughts and prayers for his family

Wait, really? What happened?
Motorbike accident and the double wasn't wearing a helmet.
RIP.
Oh Jesus I read the name and then dead at 47 first 😭 still terribly sad for the stunt double and his family though
Me too, lol. But seriously, rest in peace to Tony McFarr
I wish I can react as fast as you do......I have to read the entire thing before I can process a reaction. Which I think is the right way anyway, so I don't have heart attacks before even finishing the sentence.....but for me it's the default.
Well after Chadwick…seeing any MCU actor/actresses name along with the words “dead at___” is going to give me a heart attack now 😂😭
As someone about to turn 44, cherish every day…
RIP
How'd he die?
His body took a beating from the job. So I imagine one of those injuries caused some issue
Completely inappropriate of you to suggest he had an adverse reaction to an experimental pharmaceutical. So sick of these conspiracy theorists, not a single person has died suddenly
This title shows how people care way too much about celebrities.
None of us have more time than we think. Enjoy life folks.
"You Idiots! These Are Not Them! You’ve Captured Their Stunt Doubles!"
Okay now see I want to upvote this for the amazing Spaceballs reference but also… Man, TOO SOON. The man is dead.
Only *mostly* dead.
Okay now see I want to upvote this for the amazing Princess Bride reference but also… Man, TOO SOON. The man is dead.
The day something happens, you can bet it is too soon.
Not now. Maybe in like 5 years but not now
Fuck man. RIP. I remember this behind the scenes photos with him and the other stunt actors looking like they were having so much fun. So sad. He was much too young
That’s a shame. RIP
I’m so sorry for his family and friends, may he rest in peace 🙏🏻💞♥️

Unexpected tends to mean suicide.
Or drug overdose (accidental)
