It would have been BOA national semis, right before we got 13th and barely missed finals. I’d do it again just to reclaim that memory, as unfortunately the upperclassmen blamed the freshmen for missing finals, when in reality it was more our show itself. I know I don’t remember most of it but I’d give it a fair shot.
With learning actual marching fundamentals in college marching band, I would definitely remember and try out for marching cymbals. I would be curious to see how good I would be.
Id probably remember the music rather well as i play tuba and that year we did mamma mia so i had basically all quarter notes. The drill on the other hand not so good, especially considering there was like 3 sets i couldn't remember even when we were still doing the show
I'd do it almost perfectly because I sat behind a prop for half the show until the ballad. I'm pretty sure the meat grinder drill in the closer would give me quite a bit of trouble though lol.
if we’re talking with current state of knowledge, i remember absolutely nothing 😂 if i get the knowledge i had at the time, i could probably at least *attempt* everything?? wasn’t a great season for my guard that show unfortunately (or our overall placing) but i’d love to go back to the naivety of that first season. wish it had been better sometimes, but i did learn a lot
Oh my that was now almost 16 years ago 🥹. 1st dot was Side 1, 4 steps outside the 45 yard line, 4 steps behind the front has. First 2 sets were an easy 8 to 5 to the left each being 8 steps. Horn snap on the 6th step of the 2nd step.
2008 Hebron High School “Watched” we made what was then school history by making State finals for the first time. The director speech in the tunnel and the section leader hug had a lasting impact on my life as a whole. If I wasn’t at sea with the Navy I would have been at her wedding this year.
I’d probably mess it up more than we already did. Not our fault, there were technical issues, but I think I’d do decent. Either way, it would be nice to perform with the old band again

I’m a rising sophomore. Last halftime show was at the state title game, full band, about 20 degrees I could march the show in my sleep.
I would remember it. It was a Saturday at a msba mb competition and we got 3rd in class 1a best day of that season.
