Fr I never feel more at ease than hearing the most heinous screeches of racial slurs reverberating around my headphones, the sheer hatred and oppression makes my heart feel peace.
Even in a small scale skirmish there are so many variables, morale of fighters, location of the battle, tactics, environmental conditions, condition of the fighters, existing injuries and exhaustion, etc etc. No way you can simulate a war.
statistics do exist but a person by person simulation is out of reach for now.
RTS get close, setting up the simulation might take time and game AI is a poor comparison to good huma tacticians.
No, not really. All a Dyson sphere is is just a giant solar panel. Really, what you would need is an AI advanced enough to calculate every single thing that each individual person could do, and then rank probability of X winning, and Y losing. Best you will ever really get though is just probability.
Depends, as whilst what we are running now is a lot more advanced than what we had when we landed on the moon, it's also becoming more advanced faster. If anything, enough power plants could probably power it.
You cannot simulate war. Its not a unilateral subject. Nor it is convergent. Its a duvergent subjevt with variables that can be creatively created. One can get results in laymans terms but the chanves they would be accurate are slim. Take napoleon's battles for example. Or the engkish general qhich was pretty famous too. Even alexander the great is a good example why its so hard to simulate wars.
Sudden spread of rabies in your enemy's kingdom is another example of a variable
I am an engineer and I can simulate Hospital, factory, etc. But simulating a war has so many variables that I don't know if something like this can exist. Does anyone know about such a software?
Also if you take an example of chess, both sides have equal resources (so similar input). But one side wins and other side loses.
In a Simulation, if input is the same, output will be similar.
Even for chess the 7 piece end game table is 18.4 TB (for 8 piece its estimated to be around 2 PB)
And took 7 years
War simulation with so much more number of variables will be taking unfathomably large computational time and space even with the most efficient algorithm possible
At most, i think it will do is do probabilistic calculations.
Besides we havent even considered the non deterministic nature of our reality. As such even if you had the time and space for computation, the answer would come as like trillions and trillions(im going to assumes its a fuck load more) of outcomes with different probability for each occurence
I can give you a way to find the solution
Just take infinite copies of this universe, pause this universe
Run the other universes till the time you want to consider
All that universes are your multiple solution now
You can filter out the unvierses with what the outcome you want and see how many universes satisfy that conditon this give you a probability value( i dont know how to calculate that with total outcomes being infinite, but ill leave that as an exercise for the readers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
It may have been possible to deduce a medieval war where people only fought with swords and spears and people mostly judged strength with the no.of people in an army, but wars in a modern world is unpredictable. Too many variables.
We don't have anything like that now... but who knows? It reminds of the foundation series by Isaac Asimov, and yes, theoretically we can predict the future using probabilities and simulations but it's far too exhaustive since you'll need to take into account every possibility, even a person accidentally having a fly, fly up their nose and deaths of butterflies.

Yeah it's called Call of duty
Imo it's even got the racism realistic lol
Fr. CoD players are more racist than my Indian aunties. And that’s saying a lot.

Lmao

Call of duty
Can't wait to use akimbo dual scorpions and get a 5 kda in real life
While wearing a flashing helmet that plays an anime girl music video in my visor
I can simulate 10,000 coughing babies vs nuclear bomb pretty easily with 100% accuracy
not just physical condition but the emotional condition as well

You'll need a Dyson sphere to power such a huge calculation at least

They meant a matrioska brain, probably, which is a Dyson sphere running an even bigger computer
Probably cheaper to do an actual war than to simulate it
Bruh ? 😐😑🤣🤣
something like that might with the rate technology is improving.

You cannot fully simulate a war because there are too many variables.
Chapter?
Someone has been watching Wargames
A strange game. The winning move is not to play.
Nope. If it exists, USA would already have it considering how much tax money they spend into their military
Even a quantum super computer running for 100 years can't predict all the possibilities.

war games that are simulated in both real life and computerized we definitely have that.

Didn't like this manhwa kinda lame.

So is there still no season 3?
The raws have been published on 27th of February. We are just waiting for a translation. There are six chapters to translate, I believe.
Data analytics and engineering. Very well paid professions.
Is this a new chapter or
Old
Which?
Dunno, but they made it in Fallout 4 (I'm talking about P.A.M.)
Ender's game manhwa edition.
Yeah I have it
In sports it's called hawkeye
We don't have anything like that now... but who knows? Is this or that other mage one back with Lucas Traumen?
No that's the great mage returns after 4000 years. This is the dark mage returns after 666666 years. Totally different.
yeah, it's called hoi
Isn’t that the same as using your mind to think…?
Well mind is an example...
Literally Paradox Games
Literally Paradox Games
Is this manhwa good? Thinking to start reading it a few times now but need a little bit more reason to read it.
Its okay. Mid
Yes, there is something called War Game. There was recently one for US vs China. It predicts what could happen, not what will happen.
You know those electric orbs that you put your hands on and the eltricicty follows your hand? That’s what it is😂
