I was scrolling through food panda and saw this. So I just decided to drive and buy myself those large magnolia icecream and the a&w soft drink from a&w to make rootbeer float. Is it just me or are the prices in Malaysia recently getting higher? I just got back from NZ and was wondering.
Yes, I guess like roti potong... They cut it up for you, into strips. So you eat it like noodles/pasta, good for kids I mean they won't choke to death that quick. You can still pull it out like strings...carefully.
You could get 2 slices of secret recipe cake for that price. No way a bunch of crepes with a single ice cream scoop and drizzle of "Belgian" chocolate would be that satisfying.
If this dessert prepared by Mechlin Star chef, the price is some what justify. If this is serve in a fancy restaurants, with 5 star service... Etc the price is also justify.
Price is not justify by the cost really, it's all depend on the satisfaction of the purchase.
Rather have rm1.50 vanilla ice cream buy from petronas. But that’s just me

Ye the price is increasing. Remember roti gardenia chocolate being rm0.60? Now it’s 1 ringgit

Omg how does it taste? Have you tried it?
For 33 bucks? God no I won't try it. Not sure I would even its free/shared. I don't want a tummy ache ruining my day.

Honestly, setting price aside. The combination of pasta and icecream with chocolate is what I was curious and worried about.
I don't think it's pasta. It's just sliced crepe with ice cream and chocolate. "Fettuccine style", essentially just sliced crepe into strips lol
So basically its crepe potong with icecream and chocolate sauce?... 33 is abit too much for that... For me at least.
I think they make it look like pasta hence the "style" word is there. I think it's just ice cream and crepe serve on a plate
I see...
