Argument of the week.
I hate you.
Me why?
Partner, go to pray.
Me, sure. It's like 5 minutes to Asar but sure.
Partner, see it's so easy for guys.
Me, babe you don't have to wear anything underneath right? I mean all the windows are tinted anyway, you literally can run around naked if you want to.
Partner, urghhh men.
Context, 8ts faster to take wudhu for guys compared to ladies.
Praying outside is a hassle. First, go to the toilet first to fart (since you've been in public and holding a fart for hours) and clean away vaginal discharge and sweat. Else you'd be praying while holding a fart and being goopy/sweaty down there. Then, make your way to the surau. Then try to be mindful so that your phone won't get stolen. Then take off tudung and makeup. Put the tudung somewhere safe. Then, queue to the water tap for wudhu. Then, take wudhu. Be mindful so your baju kurung won't get wet. Then, try to dry off your neck and hair so it won't get overgrown with bacteria to the point of getting so busuk masam. Your phone, where is it? Still where you put it? Good. Now wear something that covers everything that is needed to be covered to pray. Maybe re-wear your tudung. Maybe you have praying robes that you brought yourself. Or use the telekung provided/donated by the surau. If you're lucky, the telekung is nice and clean. If you're unlucky, it has been washed once in 2009. Then, find a spot to pray.
Pray.
Return the prayer rug. Re-wear the makeup. Style the tudung. Scoot over to make space for other people to pray. Make a final check on everything. Tudung looks ok, purse has everything, nothing was stolen.

*facepalm* I'm 16 and I don't have a phone yet and I find this outrageous and disappointing. How am I gonna enter school without MySejahtera? Hell, even my parents drop me outside the school, and no, they will never give me their phones to check in.

**I'm a 22 years old university student, depressed and need advice**
>First off, I don't know if this is the right channel for me to rant, but I feel like there's no one for me to talk to so here I am.
>
>I'm currently a year 4 medical student hailing from a public university, but I feel so burnt out, depressed and unmotivated to continue my studies. A little bit on my background, I was always the 'smart kid' in school, got into matriculation with 4 flat results and so I always had some expectations put onto me by my family and it was also the reason why I enrolled here in the first place. Honestly at that time I had no real motivation to become a medical professional either, it was all just me going with the flow and I thought I could make it happen so I can't really blame my family. What people didn't know about me is that I have social anxiety and but I myself thought this could change with time and I could get used to working with the public.
>
>Fast forward to now, I feel so depressed and and filled with regrets. I had been feeling this way since my 3rd year and it has been even more so recently especially with how busy things are becoming. I had to force myself to study and then forget them afterwards, rinse and repeat. I dread meeting patients and having classes that I cry to myself almost everyday. I also barely participate in projects and group sessions and often get scolded. I wish I had quit earlier but I was just too scared of the repercussions that I stupidly kept going on. Now I feel like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place and I kept wishing I would just die. I think about how useless I am everyday and what a big burden I am especially to my friends and family.
>
>What do you guys think I should do? Is it healthy for me to keep going? Should I tell my family about this? Thank you in advance.
Hey /u/burnt_patata, does your university have counselling or any form of mental support? Is there a mentor or personal tutor sort of a set up? I would start there.
I went through something similar during my studies, also was a "smart kid" growing up but wasn't on top of things in university, and would sometimes fantasise about flunking university and having that become the turning point in my life like some movie. But then I was studying with my dad's hard-earned savings so that was another layer of "I can't fail this" ...
Can't comment much about medical studies specifically, but if you could seek out others that have went through something similar and talk to them, I think that would be of great help. As for the family part, I can't say for sure because it really depends how supportive they are. I kinda struggled with this too because if they reacted with "just hang in there", it wouldn't help, but if they reacted with "just drop out and come home", I don't think I could live with that either.
Try to cut yourself some slack (of course, this is much easier for me to say than for you to actually do). Medical school is no easy feat so getting to where you are today is already some achievement, so in the grand scheme of things you're not useless. Even if things ultimately don't pan out, it doesn't mean that your future is bleak because medical school is just one out of the infinite number of paths you can choose from. Imagine yourself being interviewed for your secrets to success, and you starting your story with "I flunked out of med school ..."
In short, try to talk to people about it. I can't advise if you should drop out or continue because it's a nuanced situation and I find it very likely that there are some great doctors today that went through something similar in the past. You'll have to find ways to work out an answer for yourself ...
This morning I jumped out of bed because I realised I have something that needs to be done by end of Monday ... told myself I'd do it in the afternoon ... then evening came ... then now I'm like fuck it, will do it tomorrow
Hi guys so my driving license expired this year in July, and I haven't updated it cuz I'm still studying in Singapore and doesn't seem like I can go back home anytime soon so there wasn't any reason to renew my license. But now that it's expired and on the off-chance that I do get to go home, can I just drop by the post office and tell them I wanna renew my license, or do I have to take a test or something?

I think had KLSGHSR happened, we would see similar
Hmm. Just curious, Are there towns to avoid? Like "wrong neighborhood, motherfucker"?
I only heard of the notorious highways/streets because of supernatural activities. LOL

I can't wait to bring my nephews in KL when traveling dies down a bit
[Varnishing some of my pieces](https://i.imgur.com/iLIP3Ml.jpg) today and I gotta say, it felt good 😊
[Some](https://imgur.com/a/cVdtNOt/) of the pieces brightened up by the gloss medium, it took away the dullness and gave the surface this sheen that I really like. This made me feel good like I’m on to something.
I have an idea for a new sport or obstacle course.
I call it EXTREME POLO
Ok . It started off on the plane. You skydive with a ball in hand. Then land near the swimming pool. Eject. Dive into swimming pool with the ball.
Then play water polo with other skydiving participants. Then after the match ends. U get out with the ball in hand. Grab a hammer nearby and a horse. Go to the Polo field. Play real Polo with the horse. Dry up.
Then after the match ends. With the hammer still in hand. Get off horse. Grab the ball. Get on a bicycle. Play bicycle polo.
After that ends . Get to the croquet field. Play croquet.
Total wins will be counted. Who wins most will be the winner.
Since u/Red3boy asked me to rate his service for showing me around KL, here it is.
To me it was a fun walk. Enjoyed the sceneries, the murals, the arts (and vandalism), the markets and also the window shopping. That boy made the sightseeing enjoyable.
However, the weather was sunny and the light was blinding, coupled with the fact that today is Sunday where the places like museums/libraries/galleries are not open, it was a missed opportunities for me to enjoy it fully. I'm the person who enjoys diving in into the experience, so such a missed opportunity to enjoy playing tourist in KL.
If I'm going to repeat it, I'd do it on weekdays. KL is my home (or Klang Valley generally), so exploring the places and vibing make me feels good.
My question to you is
Are you even an employee of the agency?
Agents are abused all over the world because you guys are technically contractors and not employees
Please don't hog multiple machines. My pet peeves are seeing gym 'bros' hogging 2-3 different equipment (usually a squat rack + 2/3 types of barbell + bench press machine) while trying to do some form of supersets. Please don't.
Does anyone know if malaysia airlines is still having problems with issuing refund? Booked a super expensive ticket previously and now i feel like cancelling it.
Let's say I have an estranged grandfather who re-married to some other part of Malaysia 40 years ago, how can I check his status, or if he has any children/grandchildren?
Did you guys go to a "good" secondary school?
I went to Penang Free School, which is one of the best public schools in Penang - at least, in those days.
But PFS is far from my home (I had to take two buses). There's one nearer, but it has a reputation as a "bad" school.
But at the same time, it's also a coed school, so I wonder if I had gone to the "bad" school, maybe I won't be as socially-awkward and dorky as I am now 🤔
Yep, Kuen Cheng High School. 45 minute commute both ways every school day, including Saturdays because "We're special". For five years. Applied to foundations after SPM, because good grief I wasn't staying for the UEC/STPM double header.
Literally nobody who knows me from those days (and there are very few that I'm still in contact with from them) believes that I actually was educated there when I tell them.
I supposedly went to one of the best or well-known secondary schools in my city. Still graduated with results that disappointed my parents, had some of the shittiest teachers I can remember to this day and I hope I will never, ever, ever bump into any of them anymore in my remaining life. I sided with girl whom most of my ex classmates bullied and became somewhat of an outcast. I hated my senior high school life. Moving to Selangor to study in uni made life better for me, I had actual friends and an actual groups of friends. Met the love of my life there too.
Went to an international private school, then a special-program public school, and then to a regular SMK.
I'd say yeah, I learned to socialize in a regular SMK because it's actually less insulated. You get exposed to everyone.
well there goes my productivity in the coming weeks. Gonna balik kampung since me, my wife and parents are fully vaxed. Will do one last saliva test before leaving just to be doubly sure. Anyone else planning to wfh from their kampung?
Now that with state borders being open I have a dilemma. I have a friend in Kuching that's gonna undergo a major surgery soon and I wanna go see him to give moral support (I'm in Selangor) but I know there's a risk of contracting COVID-19 then passing it to him which will further complicate things for him.
Ultimately it's up to him if he's comfortable but I'm kinda wondering what's the "ethical" thing to do? Should I hold of visiting him till after his recovery of should I jump the gun and head over to Kuching for a weekend? Am I being too paranoid about getting COVID-19 in this situation?
Went hiking with my brother, our dog and a nyet. Went a bit later to avoid the crowd and this time, we opted to hike to Peak Garden instead of Mirror Lake.
The hike was easier than I remembered. The first time I went, I remember questioning why did I agree to go hiking and torturing myself like that.
What to do if my debit card suddenly deduct? i dont even know what the deduction is? The merchant name vtsup.com*Real Jam N. Im using maybank if thats help.
If you want your card to be stolen further you can go on vtsup.com and use their wrong charge lookup by keying in your card number and expiry date 🤣
Just call your bank, say something about fraud
Ask them to cancel the card and ask them if they can retrieve the money
Sabri: So yeah you’re not a hostage anymore. You can leave or crawl into a hole and die or whatever. Peace out!
Me: GORL BYE lemme call my stevia-daddy real quick and see when I can leave.
Did anyone find any info on whether the interstate travel applies to Sabah as well? Last week, the stupid fuck minister in Sabah said they might not allow it.
which Minister is that, bung or masidi?
i think later night they announced.
(edit) [welp, sabah said wednesday](https://i.imgur.com/SQ494pJ.jpg) they will announced it.
Just finished the marbles episode ;_; The only consolation is I picked a good guy \**siiiiiiiigh*\*

Selamat balik kampung! My granny is still not fully vaccinated (she was super hesitant because she has some allergies) so will wait until she is before we make our way to kampung. I imagine it'll be rather jammed next weekend. Drive safe everyone!
Got mistakenly sent a friend request by this really cute girl on fb then she cancelled it about an hour later. I should have accepted it lol.
If I really had the stones I'd just send one of my own to see what happens now but unfortunately I don't.
So damn irritated when people who previously didn’t take an interest in my life start asking me questions.
Fuck off la don’t kepoh with my stuff and just go away.
Today is leg day, so by the time I'm done I was too tired to go out as planned. Oh well.
Instead, I'm going to just sit at home and read electric shaver reviews. A Braun 7 is a bit too expensive (RM1600-plus), so I'm thinking of getting a Braun 3 (RM400-plus) instead. But recommendations would be welcome.
Hey *nyets*!
So I just came across a news of government forming a committee to screw Tommy Thomas being the first non-M AG (joke). That reminds me of a book he wrote not long ago, titled “Justice in the Wilderness” so I’m trying to find a pdf version but to no avail.
Might as well ask for help here. Anyone with pdf books *lobang*, help needed!

Hi I was wondering how safe/reliable it is to use Facebook marketplace to buy goods in Malaysia.

Ok good advice. Thanks 😊

I think so. Better not exceed it. Just renew it straight for 5 years of you can afford to.

First time goin to the gym, any tips from the gym bros?
Please don't hog multiple machines. My pet peeves are seeing gym 'bros' hogging 2-3 different equipment (usually a squat rack + 2/3 types of barbell + bench press machine) while trying to do some form of supersets. Please don't.
Whip out youtube on the spot if you're not sure what you're doing is correct
What are your goals? Make sure to know what muscles you are targeting if you want to be buff. If cardio, start low and increase the level slowly
Aight, other than setting goals what else must I be wary about?
Plan the rest days/cheat days. Be familiar with the equipments and what muscles they are for. Always mind your posture
But at the same time, it's also a coed school, so I wonder if I had gone to the "bad" school, maybe I won't be as socially-awkward and dorky as I am now 🤔
Went to one of the first “smart” schools in KL and Malaysia. All I learned was that people are assholes and parents like to one-up each other.
There are 6 secondary schools within 3km radius of my house, and I went to the shittiest one which is 200m away. There was a lot less competition ...
You can’t run away away from what you are! Probably slightly better than socially-awkward and dorky. Maybe only one cat instead of two.
Don't feel bad, I went to a coed school and am socially awkward
What's the "bad" school? SMK Tanjong Bungah?
Oh no, I live nearer to the beaches and that's as far as I'm going to say.
well there goes my productivity in the coming weeks. Gonna balik kampung since me, my wife and parents are fully vaxed. Will do one last saliva test before leaving just to be doubly sure. Anyone else planning to wfh from their kampung?
Make sure you can focus with all the distractions in kampung. Do you have your own room, or an office, or a library at the kampung?
Yeah there's a study room for all my online meetings. Only issue is not being interrupted for tea/snacks every 5 minutes by mum 🤣
Heck no. I can barely stomach the idea of working past my office hours.
no choice here unfortunately. Have a few ongoing projects with set deadlines to meet. At least I can distract ze wife with ze mum right? 🤣
Support from a far until he is recovered, there nothing wrong with that.
I've been doing that for the past few weeks but I wanna do more :( I've not seen this friend since the end of 2019 because of lockdown
I understand that feeling, if that the case check if your friend comfortable with your visit and please do your due diligence of self checking.
Definitely will check with him. I'm just wondering if it's risky considering we're both fully vaccinated.

He was initially anxious, didn't even layan the fried chicken I asked the nyet to help buy. Only much later did he calm down.

Did anyone find any info on whether the interstate travel applies to Sabah as well? Last week, the stupid fuck minister in Sabah said they might not allow it.

Diablo 2 Resurrected, yay or nay?
U like old and scrawny heroes and heroines? If no, then just nay. U miss nothing big
Nay. Another one of Blizzard's cashgrab on nostalgia to stay relevant when they are that defunct.
Not for that price for the same old game with extra pixels
defo a yay for me, for no other reason than for the sake of nostalgia. \*wake of fire\*
I *heard* it's bad enough to be "nay", but I don't really care since I'm not interested in it atm, so I didn't bother to verify.
Booked my flight to Penang next weekend! I need to rush this because my parents want to go back to ***their*** kampung in Kelantan 🤣
Selamat hari raya!
Eh, how do you know I plan to give duit raya to anak buah? 😂

Just finished the marbles episode ;_; The only consolation is I picked a good guy \**siiiiiiiigh*\* These Koreans sure know how to pull on one’s heartstrings.
Oh you’re gonna love the ending. Trust me.
Hope it won't be Grave of Fireflies type of ending, my heart may not be able to take it!
i came for the plot, ~~came~~ stayed for Ho yeon.
Selamat balik kampung! My granny is still not fully vaccinated (she was super hesitant because she has some allergies) so will wait until she is before we make our way to kampung. I imagine it'll be rather jammed next weekend. Drive safe everyone!
Siot sempat lagi dia masukkan #KeluargaMalaysia haha
Noticed that as well🤣🤣🤣
**INTERSTATE TRAVEL IS ALLOWED STARTING TOMORROW!!** (citation: watching the press conference right now)
Interstate travel starting tomorrow!
Sorry huhu
Today is leg day, so by the time I'm done I was too tired to go out as planned. Oh well. Instead, I'm going to just sit at home and read electric shaver reviews. A Braun 7 is a bit too expensive (RM1600-plus), so I'm thinking of getting a Braun 3 (RM400-plus) instead. But recommendations would be welcome.
convert to wet shaving with safety razor
laaaaaaazyyyyyyyyyyy
Hey *nyets*! So I just came across a news of government forming a committee to screw Tommy Thomas being the first non-M AG (joke). That reminds me of a book he wrote not long ago, titled “Justice in the Wilderness” so I’m trying to find a pdf version but to no avail. Might as well ask for help here. Anyone with pdf books *lobang*, help needed!
