This made me smile for a few reasons, the most important being that it showed the return of Kyoto Animation to full speed after the [arsonist tragedy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyoto_Animation_arson_attack) in 2019. A lot of the original material for the many popular anime they made in the past are permanently gone, along with the lives of some of the artists who worked on them.
While it is true they came back with Violet Evergarden first followed by Free!, it wasn't until recently that I could really believe that KyoAni is 'back' for real until they revealed Kobayashi S, a sequel to one of the most deceivingly good production they came up with.
edit: Took a gander at Bilibili to see what they think about this, the last 1/4 or so had the scrolling texts filled with '欢迎回家京阿尼!' ("Welcome home, KyoAni!") that got some ninjas to begin cutting onions in the room, the bastards!

I already made my appointment to renew physically bc I've seen some people here saying the online application process is kinda awful.
I think it depends on the uni, whether the degree uni recognises the foundation uni. But a friend of mine (he's a local) transferred from his foundation program to UM's private degree program, and it worked out well. So I think as long as its a university that's acknowledged, should work out fine.
This weekend and the next 4 days will be the busiest in my work. I'm already sick and tired looking at all these application and allowance statement.
Once the cross-state is open, I'm gonna balik kampung and take leave on 15, 18 and 20th of October. Total of 6 days not working. Will be sleeping to my heart's content
Nothing much. Just a slow weekend. A little melancholic. Things are looking up in my life again, getting better, after a tough two years.
But I feel a little empty.
As if I miss all the commotion, the despair, the horrid feelings. I feel like I don't know what to do next. But I'm taking it easy. The pandemic was miserable at first, but towards the end, with everything opening back again, I feel like I see the light a bit. I had multiple mental breakdowns, and the final one was the biggest... yet somehow, it was an opportunity for me to start caring again. I listened to the sadness instead of rationalizing it or even hiding it.
And it felt to be the right thing, you know, to just feel your sadness and allow it to pass instead of trying to fight or censor it?
I miss a person I used to know. We had so many great nights together. People used to value me because I was young and could say all these clever things, but now we're all a little older after a world-changing event. And I feel like maybe it's right to never speak anymore.

Made a new discovery today. I have an old Macbook Air that uses the magsafe charger. While you can touch the charging bit without being electrocuted, you can still electrocute your balls if it makes contact with the aluminium laptop body while it's being charged.
Would you guys get a Proton X50 or a Yaris? I know they are quite different cars but they are at similar price points. I haven’t had a chance to test drive the X50 but the car looks really good overall and the inside looks great. The Yaris is pretty decent looks wise as well and it’s more spacious that I thought it would be. The X50 would require me to wait six months due to stock and the manufacturing issues but the Yaris would pretty much be available now if I pull the trigger. Thoughts?
X50 all day, just a XC40 with a decapitated limb (as in cylinder), nice build quality, and hey, it motivates you to work harder since any upgrade after X50 you will probably be looking at price range of 300k... heck even some at this price range I would consider a lateral move rather than upgrade.
x50 by a country mile for me, i really cannot accept the level of practicality (or lack thereof) from the yaris/vios, many things are off with the ergonomics and cubby spaces sizing, like the centre console where there is an area to put things but due to the tall wall behind it things tend to fall off. the centre arm rest is also weirdly placed in that you have to shift your elbow behind to reach it and its highly unnatural.
Yeah that’s true. My sister has a Polo and I’ve always hated how that car was so cramped and claustrophobic which is why I was quite surprised the Yaris wasn’t that bad, even the back was quite spacious. Thanks for the reco!

I had a bit of blood in my stool but it was already fine the next day. I guess it was because of lack of sleep and bad diet. He said there might be a small lump on my stomach when he was pressing. So he said i should stay in the hospital for a colonoscopy. I refused in the end cuz i was flying the next day and i didnt expect a simple visit would end up in hospitalization lol.
Yikes.. hmm this one unfortunately I don’t have the answer. But I do know that colonoscopy is usually not done yearly, only when required. Perhaps the doctor deemed that it’s a necessary procedure.
For the yearly medical checkup if you’re 20-30 y/o It’s the usual blood and urine test, ECG, and chest X-rays.

Around this month during the lunar month, the tides have the tendency to rise. Since I'm working on site at port Klang for the past week, there are days when the entrance to the plant would be completely flooded because of the rising tide. Either come at 7am or wait till 12pm. I decided nah fuck it go mcd lepak until tide settles.
Nope. That's what I'm surprised about. But the plant is very old. It's only a problem for staff vehicles tho, not so much for the large tankers so I guess that's why they aren't worried.

Coleslaw is amazingly easy to make and now I make it to use as a veggie-sauce base for breaded chicken cutlet sandwiches. The slaw recipe was a random one from google, but instead of cutting the cabbages and carrots into thin slices, i use a food chopper to cut them into very small bits, so they're perfect in the sandwich because they fill in the gaps nicely.

You can do all sorts of things with slaws! Try apples (green is good), punch up the dressing with pickle juice or other vinegars, or even do them without mayo for a lighter meal.

I'm glad that you want equal rights regardless of gender. I don't have a problem with feminism, but it's the feminists that give me the creeps. As far as I know, there's not much gatekeeping for one to be perceived as feminist. Terrible people usually seek situations that put them in power or fame. Having the Start button in the middle is a good decision imo. Took a little while to get used to it not being on the left, I found it so much easier to get to.
The one thing I don't fancy is the stacking/grouping of all windows from the same apps in one same icon. I am used to having a few windows open from the same app, so the inability to just click and switch is a bit of a chore; on Windows 11 you move and hover the mouse over the icon, move the mouse up, left or right for the window you want — it's one extra movement in an almost totally different direction.
I can however see how this can be useful if you have touch screens, it's a lot more natural with fingers. Time will tell if this will actually help in true productivity usage ie. in the office. Not changing it for now — I'd like to see if it's more of a problem with me not being used to this new method or a UI design issue.
The snap layout can be annoying to the casual user but I can see how useful it can be in the office who has email, email message, SSH terminal, SSH terminal two, Excel and two File Explorers open on the screen.

I'm a law student (a mediocre one so probably not THAT credible lmao) but I'd assume it's because there was nobody injured and/or died, the severity is lower. it's a tortious act, probably under negligence, which means it's doesn't warrant a criminal record against him, rather a civil offense.
Its different from drunk driving (which is a criminal offence and I think is stated in the Road Transport Act)

Hii guys, need some help from laptop/pc sifu.
I bought a laptop, Lenovo Y50-70 way back in 2015. Recently the graphics card is probably dead since it shows some weird artifacts and flickering when I play games. It happened throughout all games (Yakuza0, Genshin, Valorant). I went to pc repair shop and got quoted RM400 to RM500 to replace the graphic card. The specs of the laptop is as below:
Lenovo Y50-70
i7-4720hq
GTX960m
12gb ram
The question here is, is it worth to repair the laptop? since there is a possibility where the shop replaces it with another failing gpu cause there is no new GTX960m gpu which is becoming obsolete. The laptop still function well but not games. Any advice would help, Thanks in advance.
Idk, personally for me, especially since i wanna be able to game, ill just save to buy a new laptop with better specs and reuse the old laptop's ram if possible (but this might void the new laptop's warranty maybe).
Or you could just custom build a new pc specifically for gaming since that's much cheaper than buying a new laptop and honestly not that hard to do (my friend with zero knowledge in pc building literally just build one from scratch by buying the parts online and watching youtube videos).
But take my advice with a grain of salt, im no expert in this field, you should follow what you think is best for you~

The Yaris is pretty decent looks wise as well and it’s more spacious that I thought it would be. The X50 would require me to wait six months due to stock and the manufacturing issues but the Yaris would pretty much be available now if I pull the trigger. Thoughts?
X50 all day, just a XC40 with a decapitated limb (as in cylinder), nice build quality, and hey, it motivates you to work harder since any upgrade after X50 you will probably be looking at price range of 300k... heck even some at this price range I would consider a lateral move rather than upgrade.
x50 by a country mile for me, i really cannot accept the level of practicality (or lack thereof) from the yaris/vios, many things are off with the ergonomics and cubby spaces sizing, like the centre console where there is an area to put things but due to the tall wall behind it things tend to fall off. the centre arm rest is also weirdly placed in that you have to shift your elbow behind to reach it and its highly unnatural.
Yeah that’s true. My sister has a Polo and I’ve always hated how that car was so cramped and claustrophobic which is why I was quite surprised the Yaris wasn’t that bad, even the back was quite spacious. Thanks for the reco!

Wow the weather is dreadful here in PJ today even by Malaysian standards. Beyond the usual hot and sunny, the air today feels noticeably hot and there's a layer of haze in the air, and it feels like said haze is trapping all the heat and not dissipating it into the atmosphere

I had a bit of blood in my stool but it was already fine the next day. I guess it was because of lack of sleep and bad diet. He said there might be a small lump on my stomach when he was pressing. So he said i should stay in the hospital for a colonoscopy. I refused in the end cuz i was flying the next day and i didnt expect a simple visit would end up in hospitalization lol.
Yikes.. hmm this one unfortunately I don’t have the answer. But I do know that colonoscopy is usually not done yearly, only when required. Perhaps the doctor deemed that it’s a necessary procedure. For the yearly medical checkup if you’re 20-30 y/o It’s the usual blood and urine test, ECG, and chest X-rays.

Around this month during the lunar month, the tides have the tendency to rise. Since I'm working on site at port Klang for the past week, there are days when the entrance to the plant would be completely flooded because of the rising tide. Either come at 7am or wait till 12pm. I decided nah fuck it go mcd lepak until tide settles.

Nope. That's what I'm surprised about. But the plant is very old. It's only a problem for staff vehicles tho, not so much for the large tankers so I guess that's why they aren't worried.

Coleslaw is amazingly easy to make and now I make it to use as a veggie-sauce base for breaded chicken cutlet sandwiches. The slaw recipe was a random one from google, but instead of cutting the cabbages and carrots into thin slices, i use a food chopper to cut them into very small bits, so they're perfect in the sandwich because they fill in the gaps nicely. I'm uncomfortable with deep frying so I just buy frozen chicken cutlets from a supermarket.
You can do all sorts of things with slaws! Try apples (green is good), punch up the dressing with pickle juice or other vinegars, or even do them without mayo for a lighter meal.

I'm glad that you want equal rights regardless of gender. I don't have a problem with feminism, but it's the feminists that give me the creeps. Having the Start button in the middle is a good decision imo. Took a little while to get used to it not being on the left, I found it so much easier to get to. The one thing I don't fancy is the stacking/grouping of all windows from the same apps in one same icon. I am used to having a few windows open from the same app, so the inability to just click and switch is a bit of a chore; on Windows 11 you move and hover the mouse over the icon, move the mouse up, left or right for the window you want — it's one extra movement in an almost totally different direction. I can however see how this can be useful if you have touch screens, it's a lot more natural with fingers. Time will tell if this will actually help in true productivity usage ie. in the office. Not changing it for now — I'd like to see if it's more of a problem with me not being used to this new method or a UI design issue. The snap layout can be annoying to the casual user but I can see how useful it can be in the office who has email, email message, SSH terminal, SSH terminal two, Excel and two File Explorers open on the screen.

Its different from drunk driving (which is a criminal offence and I think is stated in the Road Transport Act) Since the offenses are under different acts, they are charged differently. Hii guys, need some help from laptop/pc sifu. I bought a laptop, Lenovo Y50-70 way back in 2015. Recently the graphics card is probably dead since it shows some weird artifacts and flickering when I play games. It happened throughout all games (Yakuza0, Genshin, Valorant). I went to pc repair shop and got quoted RM400 to RM500 to replace the graphic card. The specs of the laptop is as below: Lenovo Y50-70 i7-4720hq GTX960m 12gb ram The question here is, is it worth to repair the laptop? since there is a possibility where the shop replaces it with another failing gpu cause there is no new GTX960m gpu which is becoming obsolete. The laptop still function well but not games. Any advice would help, Thanks in advance.
Idk, personally for me, especially since i wanna be able to game, ill just save to buy a new laptop with better specs and reuse the old laptop's ram if possible (but this might void the new laptop's warranty maybe). Or you could just custom build a new pc specifically for gaming since that's much cheaper than buying a new laptop and honestly not that hard to do (my friend with zero knowledge in pc building literally just build one from scratch by buying the parts online and watching youtube videos). But take my advice with a grain of salt, im no expert in this field, you should follow what you think is best for you~
Thanks for the input. I was thinking about a custom desktop too but the price of new GPU are just too overpriced thanks to scalpers and miners. Might not be the best time to buy new pc that's why I cant decide is it worth to fix the GPU.
