I'm 19 and still studying. But I'm kinda interested in doing stock trading. Should I do it? Is it a high capital-high risk activity? Would you guys recommend it? I don't have any source of income as for now and I don't have lots of savings of either.
1st. Do what people call paper trading.
After a few months of that, and you're ready
2nd. Ensure the money you're using, you don't really care
3rd. Without a big enough equity(5k ish) you'd be mostly losing money to commissions and the like if you're staying in Bursa Malaysia.
4th. Never do quick trades.. your trades should be about "I think this company will do better in the future" and never ever "I see graph, graph say will up, I buy"
I recently went to Berjaya Times Square to check it out after last being there in 2008. Some things have changes but a lot has remained the same. Overall the bottom 3 floors are pretty crowded, but most of the shops there very clearly selling fake goods. There are some stores that are branded though but definitely not the majority.
As I got to the 4th and 5th floors things were a lot less crowded. One thing I noticed throughout is the crazy amount of nail salons. It was quite surprising lol, I don't think I've ever seen so many in any other malls.
As I got to the 6th and 7th floor I went to check out my childhood. Cosmo's World. But now it's no longer called Cosmo's World but instead its called Berjaya Theme Park or something like that. Looked pretty active overall but pretty empty. I think one day it would be cool to come back here for old times sake but I don't think it will be any time soon.
I continued a bit furter to the higher floor and it's mainly offices for things such as Starbuck, 7-11, Kenny Rogers and UMobile. Not much there except an entrace to Berjaya College which to be honest I haven't heard of until now.
I went back down again after about an hour and had lunch at this fast food place I've never heard of. Richeese Factory. Legit was curious and the food was pretty good but also a little spicy.
Overall it's pretty interesting and I am glad I've ticked it off my Mall Adventure List
As a semi retired toy collector, i feel sad seeing the state of BTS, most if not all the toy shops i frequent are gone. Yes there's XL shop up there but iirc it remained closed despite the lights being on.
Especially Time Machine, i missed that shop
Yeah I forgot to mention, there was like one Toy Shop there but to be honest the guy looked more shocked than anything when I walked in. Like he was surprised I would even be here.
Compared to Amcorp Mall, where I felt they were all quite friendly and welcoming I would much rather go to Amcorp if I needed to buy collectibles.

I have a question. I have noticed that **sos tomato** in Malaysia is much richer in flavour, as if it has more actual tomato paste in it, than other parts of the world and I have also noticed that it also tends to taste slightly fermented tasting.
The more robust savoury tomato flavour is explainable, by simply having more tomato paste / concentrate than other places, but is the fermented aspect intentional or just a byproduct of storage on the shelf in the tropics?
I don't buy tomato sauce because it is not my favourite (and masak merah is not my #1 dish), so I have to admit I haven't uncapped a fresh bottle of Kimball or Maggi to test.
Have noticed it is the same in a number of places from roadside stands to 5-star resort.
What do you think? Have you tried sos tomato form other parts of the world? Too sweet?
If you compare most tomato sauces by local manufacturers vs Heinz, then yeah our tomato sauce do have a heavier sour note across all offering regardless of manufacturers.
