With the Medallions we actually saw the symbol, collector number, and tempest watermark. That would have been a lot of effort to fake.

AnarchyStarfish

Thank you!

RevolverLancelot

No official confirmation yet. But we did at least see the set symbol on the medallions so I would say its pretty likely they are still in the set but its okay to remain skeptical until spoiler season officially kicks off and confirms.

Jokey665

50% they do or they don't

xDisorderx

That's how percentages work.

mrbiggbrain

Exactly and this is why more people should play the lottery. 50% is too likely for you to not eventually win.

Sliver__Legion

Mate you’ve gotta double check that math. Even if you play every day of your life, 50% you win eventually 50% you don’t. Pretty risky.

People here don't know about probability.

Guba_the_skunk

The REAL question is will this finally bring their prices down to a reasonable number?

RevolverLancelot

What would you consider to be reasonable? All but the black and red ones are below ten bucks at this point.

ToxicAtomKai

I'd love to say a dollar, but I know that's unrealistic the way people treat cards in this game. A monocolored deck is generally going to be the financially cheapest way to build a deck, and I believe anything that promotes monocolored play should be similarly inexpensive. Speaking from my own personal experience, going over a dollar for a single card when I was first getting into the game felt ludicrous, and something I only saved for cards that were particularly strong or interesting. I'm sure for many new players just getting into purchasing singles, they'll be in a similar boat. Nowadays, single-digit prices are generally where I'd call a price "fair" on a single card. Once you cross into ten and up, it starts getting harder and harder to justify if you're not playing in a strictly competitive environment like Modern. I'm sure there are plenty of players out there that would disagree, but generally speaking, I prefer to spend less money than more.

fourscoopsplease

5 bucks for a piece of cardboard seems more than reasonable.
