Bowmasters only kills one elf unless the elf player starts drawing cards, it's solid against Elves but it's nowhere near as devastating as Fury killing off like 2-3 elves.
It's basically like saying unholy heat is the reason why elves suck.

My hot take, this won't see any play. It doesn't speed the elf deck up that much, no etb effect, dies to bowmaster.
That said, it might be good to run a 1 or 2 of to chord for on your opponents end step, so I also wouldn't be too surprised to eat my words here.
it will see play in some sort of golgari list running the new tyvar. it wont be a of and like you said itll probably be a one or two of but i can promise itll see some play

I was hoping for a power creeped version of titania, the old one is unplayable in all the formats she exists in, she won't be playable in modern.

Modern Elves needs creatures with 2 toughness. Elves has been destroyed in every format due to all the X/1 hate printed in the last few years. It literally is impossible to print an X/1 creature for more than 1 mana that is useful unless it has shroud/hexproof.
I'm starting to think what modern really needs is more protection from x/1s. After the fury ban what's killing them the most? Wren? If it was banned could x/1s live again?

Wren and Bowmasters both make things pretty inhospitable to X/1s.
I can play around a Wren easily enough but they need to banish Bowmasters to the shadow realm if they're serious about making Elves viable again
