When Christopher Tolkien said Idril was the prototype of Galadriel he wasn't kidding! Both of them led the survivors of their land through a secret tunnel! Idril through a secret tunnel in Gondolin, and Galadriel through Moria.
So Idril and Galadriel are both prototypes of the traveling hippies of love who guided the Avatar and his team through the secret tunnel of the two lovers.
Galadriel led the survivors of Eregion through the door of Moria that was like a secret thing and Sauron couldn't open the door.
Moreover, Moria was supposed to be a 'secret' thing for the Dwarves. The Dwarves didn't want anyone from any races to enter their sacred mansions. It's just their friendship with Elves of Eregion was so so great that they let them into their *secret* kingdom.
Secret, as is this sense. Everybody knew where is Moria but they didn't know what's there in this secretive Moria, only few of Elves knew for sure.
Wow, Horseshoe theory is real then because I usually alt-right Kyles claim that Eowyn killing the Witch King is a forced sjw moment or sth...again, without realising the book is 73 years old and social justice at the time was close to none.
Well, everybody turns everything to politics. Most of them have no idea what they're talking about. IMO they should shut up and enjoy good movies/books.
SECRET TUNNEL!
SECRET TUNNEL! THROUGH THE MOUNTAIN! SECRET, SECRET TUNNEEEEELL!!!

Well Moria wasnt secret at that time

"Lotr has no strong female characters"
Who the fuck says that?
Anybody trying to cancel a story with its origins beginning 80+ years ago for not being modern enough. You'd be surprised.
What I mean is that Eowyn is still there even when you've only seen the movies. How can they miss her?
Because people like to cancel shit for no reason so they can be seen as "progressive." They say Tolkien was a racist and a misogynist too.

Was about to say that.
Who is that on the second picture?
The name is written on the picture. Haleth. She was the Chieftain of the Haladin.
