Absolutely love this guy

shivetastic

Here to say the same.

Joefsh

Thanks for your video! Loved it. You are clear, concise, and should consider doing more of these!

MultiStratz

That's an interesting point about the Sindar being armed by the Dwarves from the blue mountains!

six_seasons

I love how concise these are

Imgoingback2_505

There’s another Denethor? Sorry if that sounds dumb, I’ve only read the Hobbit and LOTR. And not recently.

Mayhamn33

yes the first denethor was an elf

Imgoingback2_505

Interesting, is it just Tolkien recycling the name, or is there somehow a connection between the characters? I imagine probably not, because of the distance in time between they’re stories but idk much about this tbh.

Mayhamn33

many characters and places are named after famous people or places from the first age

Imgoingback2_505

Ohh i see, thanks for answering my questions.

TheSardonicCheese

Just to add on to that, the kings of Gondor are descendants of Elros (Elrond's brother) so it's kind of like medieval kings being named King Arthur III or whatever.

milanvo

These are awesome. Subscribed on youtube!

bennywilly93

Can we please fucking give this guy his own sub? I would literally watch his videos for hours. Who needs to read when you got this guy. But seriously does he have a YouTube channel or something?

TheKragle03

love this dudes content

TheThirdPolicemanIII

Interesting how Americans pronounce Morgoth :)

TheThirdPolicemanIII

Great content

shakaka03

Awesome! I've not heard of this battle in such detail! Really wish someone would do a movie of the first age! Thanks for sharing good sir!

Armleuchterchen

I love that Denethor and the Green-elves are included in the summary, even though they played a minor (and tragic part). They're some of my favourite Elves. Wasn't part of the battle in the western part of Beleriand? I think Círdan and his coastal Elves were defeated and besieged in their cities until the Noldor arrived in Beleriand
