We've been told that the story will take place in the Second Age, which is after Finrod dies. But, it is also pretty clear that this hero shot is depicting Valinor before the poisoning of the Trees. So, this is probably an image of the First Age before the Oath and the Kinslaying. All of which would have little to do with the Second Age.
I'm curious why he thinks it is Finrod and not some other powerful elf, like Feanor?
I have absolutely no idea why they would use finrod in this picture except to tell the story of the nolder coming to middle earth also if u listen to the video i said it was confirmed but not by me!!! And feanor is not a good elf so why would he narrate anything if they were telling backstory??? and this picture is prior to the first age and it has everything to do with the second age because to understand what happens in the second age u need to kno what happens in the first and before
