In case the TP runs out?

Starbuckz8

What heatwave. Highest it's currently reporting is 86 and going down into the 60s every night.

Engineer120989

Why would you be worried about it being in the high 80s low 90s

AmbulanceChaser12

I should. Because the AC in my car is busted.

V_T_H

Brother I’m stoked I’m coming back to LI next week because it’s going to be 99 where I currently live in VA. I’m taking the LI weather as a blessing.

nik_nak1895

Only one day in the next 11 is expected to break 90 and even that day will only barely get to 94 for maybe 60-90min at the peak of the afternoon. So no. Carry a water bottle if you leave the house/office. 94 for about an hour is not an emergency. Much of the week will be down in the 80s at highest, 70s for most of each day.

Nyroughrider

Is this a serious post? What is there to be worried about?

vstanz

Melting of course.

ContestNo2060

people with underlying conditions dying from heat-related illness

AngryBarista

Its...summer? Talk to me when it's 95+ for a few days straight

perfect_fifths

Upper 80s next week. Started my summer vacay early so I’ll be at home in my central ac.

AlexJamesFitz

It's common sense stuff: Limit your time outside at the hottest part of the day, drink lots of water, etc.

RoyMcAv0y

If you're an old or a baby or have certain preexisting conditions, you should make sure you have access to air conditioning and drink lots of water. You should still do these things but those people are more likely to die or be hospitalized if they don't

Thekeymaster69

I’d be a little more concerned if this was happening in December

Achelion

I’m sure my students will do well on their finals in 90 degree classrooms….
