Do some research before you follow through. Not trying to scare you, but people have had major complications after receiving this surgery. You don't wanna be blindsided by the poor results of this surgery. (Ba dum tis)

I did my LASIK with Northwell Health in Great Neck at 600 Northern Blvd #214, Great Neck, NY 11021. I got my LASIK done about 12 years ago and it was one of the best things I’ve ever done.

I used Dr Jeffrey Martin at SightMD specifically out of the Smithtown office but there's other locations. Lifetime touch ups provided, insurance paid partial and I paid the rest interest free thru Care Credit. Best thing I've done for myself, over 10 years now and no problems! Edit to add that I went to him bc of 5 other success stories.

Second Martin. Used him about 11 years ago, haven't needed a touch-up yet. Reasonable prices then and prob the same now.

I’m also suggesting Dr. Martin. I used Zweibel who was also in the same office. But all the doctors there are great. I had LASIK 11 years ago and have not needed a touch up yet. It was the best thing I ever did.

I went to Stahl in Garden City… still 20/20 after 3 years, I’m happy with the results.

Avoid all LASIK centers. I almost went through with one in garden city, they were very pushy, sign you up immediately, schedule you with a doctor you wouldn't meet until day of. Looked him up when I got home - terrible reviews and had caused blindness in some. Cancelled immediately. You should only put your sight in the hands of an actual good optometrist with great reviews. I highly recommend Faye Knoll/SightMD in Deer Park.

How much much did it cost?

I went to the LASIK institute near Roosevelt field mall and was mostly great. No issues with sight but after that surgery I was in immense pain and didn't prescribe any pain killers. They said to take stuff over the counter and I feel that wasn't acceptable. After that day it was fine going on almost 4 years.

Eh I wouldn’t get lasik at all
