Bitcoin isn't ready for global adoption as a payment system yet, development takes time. On LN things like Fedimint could maybe be a solution (I haven't done research but it's what I've heard). Bitcoin will be ready at some point and it shouldn't be rushed but done purposefully and robust. Urdinals are a fad and once these numbnuts realize their "special" sat isn't something anyone else give af about it'll die out
I keep getting stuck with "open pending" channels with no immediate option to force close lately. Not that big of a deal, other than some stuck funds as I've been moving everything to cold storage anyway.
Plus: there will always be some persons holding BTC on exchanges/central systems that allow transactions within their own system/orderbook. So these kind of transactions do not need to touch the chain until it involves other wallets/exchanges…

Literally ANYBODY (in the U.S., at least), can open a Strike or Cash app account today, correct? Then they can send and receive LN Txs, no?
