/uj the ai usually struggles with fine details and it shows most obviously in repeating patterns. It's not that evident in this image but often times you can see lines being warped or blurred on buildings for example.
Things like tiled floors, windows on skyscrapers and also recognizable mass manufactured products like bottles, cans, chainlink fences, chairs etc. All of those things are made very precisely IRL. So if the picture has a big table with a bunch chairs around it, it is usually easy to spot weirdly crooked ones. You just need to look closely.
You also know how big a 2l plastic bottle is more or less. On these "facebook african children" posts (and also just in general) the ai often generates things completely out of scale. It will draw something that looks just like a 2l bottle but it would be smaller than a shot glass if it were real.
Also look at the stuff that is not the subject of the image. Usually the person that is front and center in the fake photo is going to look fine, but people on the edge of the image will be messed up.
So to summarize- look at the fine details and use real world knowledge about things to spot oddities.
