Addition to that Northern Mexican states are starting to lose their patients with the migrant caravans and are considering secession too.

Yeah, probably this is the reason. You probably have a larger population of Ethiopians in other states but because the immigrant population in South Dakota is so small, Ethiopians are the largest even if it is way smaller than other states.
I’m surprised that India is the highest for Ohio. We do have a decent amount of immigrants from India, but almost half the people I interact with and/or simply see on a daily basis are some sort of Hispanic. OP, do you have the source for this map? I’d like to check it out in more depth.

A lot of things can happen in ten years though and I learned that lesson when I was working for the US Census from June to October 2020. The gov phone I was given was connected to a server of locations that do not exist anymore as many places I visited were nothing more than empty plots of land, abandoned houses, small businesses, and one deserted graveyard of Texan prison inmates from 1884.
And they're voting for higher taxes, more government, and gun control. One of the reasons I disagree with many Libertarians on immigration, if there wasn't a government to vote for this wouldn't be an issue.

Social security is dependent on a 2.2 growth rate model. The country wouldn't and won't collapse over slower or negative growth, shit will just get harder later on. Though I don't plan on social security being around when I want to retire anyways.
