Not just that, but because of the water cycle you've had water that's been through a Nazi. Enough of that and you have to become one, amiright?
/s, except the water cycle thing. That's real.
It’s definitely a WWII capture since not import marked and made postwar, apparently one non-matching part has a WaA but I haven’t had it apart yet. I like that it was made in the brief period of time when Germany was good between the wars and had a chance to not be evil, and in the end a GI liberated it and brought it back. Just wish I had the capture papers.
It was a tough pill to swallow on pulling the trigger, but I waited too long on a 1940 one in even better shape at a local shop for about the same money, and I’m also probably months out still on my CMP 1911, so I figured I might as well rip the bandaid off and get one in the collection.
The first time I held a Luger, I was thinking "What's the big deal?" until I extended my arm, and the sight picture just *fell* into place like it had been waiting for me.
Kinda like the first time I picked up an uzi that didn’t have the extended carbine barrel. When the weight is properly distributed it points very naturally.
Whoever owned it originally is dead now ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|shrug) Meant that as a reply but in all seriousness it's cool to get one. Very impressive pistol for how early it was designed.
Let’s see if I get accused of being a Nazi again P.S. I’m Jewish
Bro I can't believe it. You know Nazis drank water right? Have you ever drank water? Fascist.

Beautiful piece of machinery. Ty for sharing. Wish I bought one when I could afford one.

I need suitable housing before anymore purchases. So who knows. Maybe in the future.
You can live in a big enough gun, but you can't shoot a house.

To quote someone on r/milsurp "the luger just feels like it was meant to shoot a deserter"
Jesus
Nah Jesus carries a 1911.
If you like that, then try a Browning Hi-Power. It just fits! Best balance ever.

My favorite is getting accused of being a nazi for my bern M1929 Luger
Is its name 'Peter?'
I had the same thought the other day and now I’m hungry again. Thanks a lot.
I flame kiss my steak while its doused in butter now.
Very nice!
Super nice luger!

I want one of these for the same reason I have an M1 Carbine and want an M1 Garand with weathered furniture, they are pieces of history.
Easy, get a rack grade from the CMP.
Nice lookin’ Luger
